This guy, Jeter, and Posada were the reasons I found myself watching and rooting for the Yankees as a kid learning the game. Was easy to follow them when they were on TV all the time 😅😂

I hate the Yankees, so of course never liked Mo. But watching this when it happened made me think of what a genuine guy he was and then I started to appreciate what he had done

I could never quite get the 12-6 curveball, I had a 3/4 type arm slot a lot of 2 seam sinker action, cuz Mariano I started experimenting with a cutter after listening to him talk about it. Far from MLB but it was deadly in high school for sure! 2 seam, cutter, splitter, change
