@Heypocket @NousResearch I’ve got essentially the same thing set up using iOS shortcuts. It started out because I wanted to be able to record thoughts while reading a book. I’m assuming it’s purposeful for you to use the Heypocket device and not just a phone. Is that true?

@Heypocket @NousResearch I’ve been using @Heypocket for coming up on a year now, and I really like it! But one of my biggest issues is that the time to sync is painfully slow and the Quick Sync WiFi feature is inconsistent at best. But I’ve got it connected to Codex and use the connection daily.

@Heypocket @NousResearch Almost 30 years ago I bought a metal Star Trek pin, and I want to add the ability to tap it and have it record my speech then send it to my agent right away. The agent should be able to respond by voice through it. Somebody has to be working on making this a reality.

@Heypocket @NousResearch I’ve been using Plaud for this type of thing. Great use. However, I found much easier to run a shortcut, capture my voice, this gets sent straight to Hermes via webhook and it takes care of the rest. I find my Plaud better for an actual meeting, not a 15s brain dump.

@Heypocket @NousResearch I ended up building an app for my phone which runs a local model to organize and analyze the recordings. All local + private. . And for the second part, I actually have my home agent building apps automatically now, so thanks for the idea to hook the two systems together. 🙌

So do you go pocket >obsidian? I use the plaud and have my agent pull summaries from mcp. Then log into obsidian if there are relevant things to remember

@Heypocket @NousResearch It's not nearly as automated but I own this. One caveat, it has an internal SD boot drive. If you don't back it up the device will become a brick(as mine currently is, if anyone buys one please send me the image!)

@Heypocket @NousResearch Woot! That's awesome! I literally finished setting something up similar with my @vocci_ai on my @NousResearch setup too. Still working out some of the kinks as I wanted to differentiate between misc thoughts, research, and PRDs. So far so good and love this use case!
