Beautiful! Can you explain why SDF makes this simulation possible? Are mesh collisions just too slow to compute?

Thank you! Traditional mesh collisions have to loop every polygon in the scene and calculate for intersections for each particle. With SDF, you just need to sample the 3d grid once to get the distance to the closest geometry. (Or 4 times to calculate normal too).
