I had 35 year old C ration pound cake, not as old as what the general ate, and It was as though it was just sealed! Delicious!🤷🏼‍♂️🤔😏 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸😏🫡😏🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

And grocery stores throw away so much based on those dates. Sad to think we have more food than we need and some people go to bed hungry. The food can be donated. But it's just thrown awat.

In Germany we have a MHD ( Mindest Haltbarkeits Datum) ,a date at which the product is still guaranteed perfect.
