A journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step. BKC took that first step today, participating wholeheartedly in the BKC Public Transport Day, an MMRDA-led public initiative. Dr Sanjay Mukherjee, IAS, Metropolitan Commissioner, MMRDA, wholeheartedly participated in this initiative and encouraged public transport day volunteers on the way. Dr. Mukherjee has been driving the initiative and showed how one small step is all it takes for change. Mumbai Metropolitan Region's growth has always been linked to big ideas backed by long-term planning. At the Navabharat Navarashtra Magnetic Maharashtra Conclave 2026, Dr. Sanjay Mukherjee, IAS, Metropolitan Commissioner, MMRDA, spoke about how MMRDA is now preparing for the region’s next phase.
