Modern is the older format. Pioneer is 2015(?) Onwards, modern is 2005(?)

My yigioh brain still cannot fathom how commander is actually popular and standard is considered scary and try hard
Legacy: for after you sold a kidney. Vintage: for after you sold your firstborn.

The best format is cube and that's final. Gotta give premodern, legacy and vintage some love too. Respect your elders.

Forgot about vintage!!! 😭😭😭😭😭

pioneer has less card sthan modern but how would anyone know at this point anyway?

100 men before you have tried to explain magic the gathering to me, all have fallen.

The larpageddon

this is completely accurate

You got all the formats wrong 💀💀

I agree drafting/sealed deck is the best format :)

We need this for more games.

I am a two angry format man. I just hide the angry part from most people.

tbh pauper should be a standard rotating format, rotate a year long pool of cards every six months (or every year rotate a two year pool, if wotc slows down their product release to a normal amount) keep the format cheap and fresh

My opinion is if you don’t play standard gtfo

Shut up

Modern and Pioneer being the same sets plus new sets was destined to turn into a horrible stagnant hellscape with an established meta that destroys anyone that tries to deviat from it

Notably no Legacy or Vintage. Pre-modern is starting to take off, too

Yugioh player here. Commander games are long and when everyone has board wipes, it’s even longer. Throwing money at it will not win you the game but cardboard shiny, me like. You will conjure feelings you never have before when your 9 mana commander gets countered. Standard ok.

I miss draft so much 🥲

There’s also pauper commander which is if pauper and commander had a really disgusting child

I say play the game how you want to play it.

@More_you_knoww help

Modern player here. Can confirm.
