when we implement this i'm going to ❑ fake 'easing' so animation isn't linear ❑ add more fluidity to the sides ❑ make it a little faster

Part of me wants the cursor bpm and the animation to be the same. 2 blinks for each direction. Like the animation hits a side every second blink.

please say you are considering removing the bottom bar? feels unnecessary to keep displaying that info, and suffers from horizontal bar stacking. feel like ui will be cleaner without.

Seems like you're missing the opportunity to align this to what the agent might be doing between thinking, explaining, editing, tool calling, etc. These could all bee slightly different looks in a horizontal presentation of what would typically be shown vertically when expanded.

yeah, this is going to be dynamic to what degree we don't know yet. don't want it to feel too jarring if the agent is riffling through things fast this won't be the only animation though, just a first pass in response to a conversation we had yesterday

yeah, i considered this too... building - one direction for one type of thing thinking - back and forth something else - from the centre outwards etc etc lots to explore

i'd love to see proper/full customization with opencode, being able to hide things, show things, etc

@inaplight the title bar is only shown when the sidebar is open, have you tried that? if you don’t want the sidebar or the title bar then I’d love suggestions for where this could go? do you think it’s info that you don’t need to be visible and instead can just be called via a shortcut?

hmm that's odd! i see the title bar regardless... for placement, i was thinking maybe the right bottom side of the input box or under it to the left (see image). for title, i personally don't need to see that unless i want to resume later...
