I made this hyperlapse video for Brooklyn Brewery 11 years ago before there was a name for hyperlapse... It is amateurish but has it's own charm which is still very much valid:

@OpenAI "This isn’t going to replace the filmmaking process, rather it’s offering an entirely new way of thinking about it." And what do you think happens to all the VFX artists and crews that would normally capture and create this footage? Literally contradicting your own pitch.

@OpenAI "Not restricted by ... other people’s permission." Are you saying people don't need permission to use your work as their own?

@OpenAI Not sure what you mean. I'm saying for independent filmmakers, financing ambitious ideas is a huge uphill battle. VFX driven indie films are few and far between. This can help people on small teams with big ideas.

@OpenAI You do that shot practically, it's impressive. You do that shot with AI, it means nothing.

@OpenAI You can regurgitate old work, same as GenAi does with any medium. You are restricted by what it has eaten. If it hasn’t eaten it, it can’t puke it.

@OpenAI Your video is extremely cool though. I've been familiar with some of your works for like 10 years since your "infinite zoom" tutorial. And your video for Jacques was amazing too! Glad to see someone like you have access to Sora.

@OpenAI Thanks for following for so long yeah I’ve been doing infinite zooms and hyperlapse videos over a decade ago. I’ve put in the hours and don’t take for granted the power of what’s coming

@OpenAI Did you credit the artists that made the dataset this was generated from?

P’Ple tells Bright is A Young Artist with a Global, Strategic Mindset Beyond Celebrity Thinking. P’Ple: “we were sitting and talking, and I can that this kid is not an ordinary artist. When you spend a whole day with him, you can really see it—his way of thinking is completely different; not a celebrity, not an actor; He thinks like an executive, like a planner. His mindset is very different from most teenagers today. It’s not about having money, eating out, traveling, or just enjoying life day by day. Honestly, everything he says shows a global way of thinking. Many of the ideas he talks about aren’t even conventional marketing plans, yet what he expresses naturally aligns with high-level marketing and strategic thinking. He wants to do things in the best possible way. If he has to go out and work on ten things a day, instead of doing all ten poorly, he would rather choose one thing and dedicate all his time and energy to doing that one thing exceptionally well. While we were together in the room, we talked, and Bright said to me, “Brother, when I do something, I want to do it in the best way possible.” He prefers to focus all his effort on one thing at a time, rather than spreading himself thin across many tasks. The way he positions himself, the way he thinks about his future—he plans it step by step, shot by shot, always looking ahead. It’s genuinely global-level thinking. I’d say he’s a kid with an incredibly sharp mind. And beyond that, his heart matters too. When he’s with kids, I quietly observe him—he plays with them naturally, without caring about cameras or attention at all.” #bbrightvc #bright
