Dear IPS Association This is the current SP of Churachandpur sometime back in the same town, trying to explain the rules of the law to the #Kukis. How brave and articulate! Such a fine IPS officer that we must all be proud of. Instead, there is a campaign to malign him by sections of Kuki communities. We should condemn all those who are indulging in such propaganda. And the law must take its course when it comes to organizations like ITLF which increasingly think and behave like they are the law unto themselves. The BJP has tried to divide Indians on basis of religion, caste, region and language. They have also misused Central agencies as a threat to weaken opposition and institutions. Now that defeat is imminent the country is being divided into two major camps - those who have the right to vote and those whose vote they want to steal. BJP is afraid of the poor people who have turned against them - the Dalits, tribals, OBCs and minorities. Hence, they want to take away their vote. Today, if they take away the vote of 13 crore or more citizens - at a time when the population of the country is growing, it will be the single largest deprivation exercise on planet earth. It is more than the population of many a country. We are setting up a strange context where after number of voters has gone up in every single election in India since 1952, including last three General elections when Modi came to power, the total number of voters in India will come down for next polls. But the people of India won’t allow it. This is not a fight of Congress party alone or even INDIA alliance but of our country’s future. India will stand for the right of every Indian to vote. Either the BJP sacks CEC Gyanesh Kumar and reverses the SIR exercise and restores the vote of every citizen, or it will be consigned to the dustbin of Indian political history. Jai Hind!

Contrary to CSIS Canada's 2024 Public Report, which stated “non-violent advocacy for an independent state of Khalistan is not considered extremism," Conservative Party's Melissa Lantsman & Shuv Majumdar, both equated Sikh political advocacy for Khalistan as "terror" in recent speeches. Melissa Lantsman, when identifying current terrorist threats to Canada said, "Elements of Khalistani terror who terrorize communities and people in their neighbourhoods in this country.” She did not allude to what "Khalistani terror" has recently occurred in Canadian neighbourhoods. There has been, however, Indian government-orchestrated criminal gangs committing homicides, arsons, and shootings in Canadian neighbourhoods, targeting Sikhs, as part of a broader campaign of transnational repression. Shuvaloy Majumdar called out terror groups in Canada and said, “To never back down, to never surrender, and to never be afraid to name them, whether they are Hamas or Hezbollah or Khalistan or anything else.” Khalistan, unlike Hamas or Hezbollah, is not an organization or group, but a name given to the long-standing principles of Sikh self-determination. So Tucker Carlson has declared London "totally safe" and that "Pakistanis are super nice". Air India Statement Air India welcomes back stranded passengers from Dubai on flight AI916D that landed at 1058 hrs IST at Delhi Airport. The aircraft, VT-EDC, ferried a total of 149 passengers. This is the first flight operated by an Indian carrier for the homecoming of passengers amid the ongoing situation in the Middle East. Earlier this morning, 143 cockpit and cabin crew members of Air India and Air India Express who were stranded in Dubai safely arrived back in Delhi on flight AI918D. Our Operations Control Centre and supporting teams have been working around the clock to facilitate these flights in extraordinary circumstances, ensuring seamless coordination throughout. We express our sincere gratitude to the Government of India, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), and the local authorities in Dubai for their continued cooperation in enabling these vital operations. We remain deeply committed to the safety and wellbeing of our passengers and crew, which continues to be our highest priority.
