ECI'S SECRET VOTER PURGE IN BENGAL EXPOSED 𝟏.𝟑𝟔 𝐂𝐑𝐎𝐑𝐄 𝐕𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐒𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐁𝐲 𝐀 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 "𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐥" 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐆𝐨𝐭 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝! 🔥 The Election Commission built a digital fortress around West Bengal's Electoral Rolls during the 2025-26 Special Intensive Revision (SIR). They invented a brand-new "Logical Discrepancy" category and slapped 1.36 CRORE voters Statewide with "Under Adjudication" tags — freezing their Voting Rights indefinitely with ZERO Explanation or Deadline. To bury the Truth, ECI released the rolls ONLY as massive scanned PDFs (228x larger than digital files), Blocked Automation with CAPTCHA Gates, Limited Downloads to 10 areas at a Time, and Slapped Diagonal "UNDER ADJUDICATION" Watermarks that Obscure Names on 1 in 10 entries. But Alt News just smashed through the Wall. They digitized 558 PDFs from Mamata Banerjee’s Bhabanipur and neighbouring Ballygunge seats. The Shocking Findings: • 39,604 voters (11.2% of the entire electorate in these two seats) marked “Under Adjudication” •;Muslims = 39.5% of voters… but 66.5% of those flagged • A Muslim voter is 3.1 times more likely than a Hindu voter to lose their right to vote • In Bhabanipur: Muslims (just 21.9% of voters) make up 51.8% of flagged cases — nearly 1 in every 4 Muslims targeted vs fewer than 1 in 17 Hindus This isn’t a Glitch. This is Systematic, Targeted Disenfranchisement ahead of Elections. #ElectionCommission #WestBengal #SupremeCourt

#WATCH | Delhi: BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi says, "The Bharatiya Janata Party strongly condemns the letter written to the Chief Justice of India—and the failed attempt to undermine democracy—by a few political parties that treat their respective parties as personal caste fiefdoms and face repeated failure due to their constant disregard and disrespect for public sentiment. This entire matter has two facets: a legal one and a political one. From a legal standpoint, the 'Special Intensive Revision' has been upheld as entirely reasonable and lawful by various courts; furthermore, such exercises have been conducted periodically by the Election Commission and the Government of India in the past. From a constitutional perspective, they failed to present a single factual issue before the court; this has raised suspicions in the public mind that their dream of capturing power in the states by relying on dubious voters is now crumbling. I would like to ask the Congress party and other opposition parties: the tone and language used in your letter to the Supreme Court mirror the arrogance witnessed during the Emergency era. I ask the Congress party: is it not true that one of your senior leaders, Shashi Tharoor, stated on a TV program—that the Congress party benefited from the voter revision (SIR) in Kerala because the fake voters registered by the Communist parties were deleted? Meanwhile, your Karnataka leader DK Shivakumar instructs his party workers to engage in the SIR process with promptness and active zeal, yet here you are raising objections against it..."

I am compelled to bring to your urgent attention Mr. CEO West Bengal, a brazen act of intimidation that reeks of the despotic playbook TMC has perfected over the years. The air is thick with threats. Girindranath Barman, the TMC's Cooch Behar district Chairman; a man who masquerades as a leader but behaves like a local Don, has publicly declared war on the very BLOs tasked with upholding the sanctity of our electoral rolls. In a chilling press statement, Barman announced that every Booth Level Officer (BLO), as an agent of the Election Commission, must "come with the complete voter list of 2000." Fail to do so? "We will tie him up." Yes, you read that right, tie them up, as if we're in some medieval dungeon, not a modern democracy. And for what? To bully BLOs into fabricating a "solution", following their desperate Leader's diktat, ensuring no "genuine" TMC sympathizer's name vanishes from the Voter's List during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR). This isn't vigilance; it's vigilantism, plain and simple, a direct assault on the Election Commission's authority and the BLOs' independence. This isn't an isolated rant from a fringe thug. It's symptomatic of TMC's scorched-earth strategy to weaponize the SIR process. They don't want to cleanse our electoral rolls, full of ghosts, infiltrators, and fakes that have bloated West Bengal's voter lists for decades. How can BLOs; often ordinary government employees, perform their door-to-door duties when TMC's foot soldiers are openly vowing to bind and tie them up? Mr. CEO, the Election Commission must not stand idly by as this hostile environment suffocates democracy. I urge you, in the strongest terms to take immediate action against such Intimidators. VIDEO | Activist and psephologist Yogendra Yadav, who was a litigant in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) case before the Supreme Court, said, "As one of the litigants, I have reasons to be disappointed, but I am shocked. Not shocked only because I was litigant and the judgment did not go in my favor. That can happen. Not shocked because I had expected a very different judgment. For the last few months, the course, the very strange course that this particular case had taken, made it absolutely clear which way things were going. I'm shocked that the Supreme Court of this country has allowed the fundamental democratic principle to be overturned. In a democracy, voters choose the government. The government cannot choose the voters. And the net effect of what the Supreme Court has done today is that now BJP shall decide who can be a voter in this country and who cannot. Technically, you might say Election Commission will decide. But because the same Supreme Court has done absolutely nothing to ensure that the Election Commission's own appointment is a non-partisan way, and given the manner in which the Election Commission behaves these days, it is absolutely true that now BJP decides who will be the voter, and on the basis of their votes, BJP will say, "We have one popular mandate." This is a complete overturning of the fundamental principle of universal adult franchise...I'm astonished that the Supreme Court of India has put its seal of approval on fundamental overturning of democratic principles."

.Election Commission of India Chief Electoral Officer, Andhra Pradesh This video exposes exactly what YSRCP has been warning about repeatedly. In the name of the SIR process, official Enumeration Forms collected from voters have reached the hands of the TDP/MyTDP team in Atmakur constituency. Private persons are sitting inside the Secretariat and openly entering voter details into the MyTDP App. When questioned, they reportedly say they came because Anam sent them. How did confidential SIR forms, collected as part of an Election Commission process, reach the hands of TDP-linked private persons? YSRCP has already submitted multiple complaints to the Election Commission regarding the illegal use of the MyTDP App in the SIR process, political interference by TDP leaders, pressure on BLOs, and misuse of official election machinery. But till now, no serious enquiry or visible action has been taken. This inaction is emboldening the ruling TDP. They are misusing power, officials and government premises to divert voter data into their party app and target votes opposed to them. This is not a mere local irregularity. This is a direct attack on the neutrality of the electoral roll revision process. The SIR process is supposed to be under the exclusive control of the Election Commission. It cannot be converted into a TDP data collection drive. It cannot be allowed to become a tool to identify, target and delete the votes of YSRCP leaders, cadres, supporters, sympathisers and voters opposed to the ruling party. We demand immediate action: 1.Seize all SIR forms handled by private/TDP-linked persons in this incident. 2.Conduct an urgent enquiry into how official Enumeration Forms reached the MyTDP team. 3.Identify and suspend officials who allowed private persons to handle SIR forms. 4.Ban the use of MyTDP App or any party-linked app in the SIR process. 5.Order a statewide probe into all complaints filed by YSRCP on MyTDP App misuse. 6.Ensure that every genuine voter’s right is protected and no vote is deleted through political manipulation. The Election Commission must act now. Silence will only encourage further misuse. The integrity of the electoral roll and the voting rights of people in Andhra Pradesh are at stake.

#WATCH | Thiruvananthapuram: On Special Intensive Revision (SIR), Congress MP Shashi Tharoor says, "...Everyone who has participated in elections has known that the electoral rolls are not perfect. There are duplicates, dead voters, there are living voters who are not registered, there are people who have moved address and who have two or three addresses in two or three different booths. All of these things have existed, but if it has happened on a very big scale, then it need to be addressed. I think the election commission's best approach should be to confront these matters very openly. Fortunately, nowadays our digital technologies have improved so much that you can develop an algorithm to go through all the voter registrations, flag every duplicate thing, raise certain questions, do I think a revision every few years is essential, maybe every year even. But let's use modern computer technology and do it efficiently and make sure that no one has any doubt. It's in the interest of the election commission's own credibility that no voter should have any doubt in their minds and hearts about the fairness of the election...Challenges there are, and no one is going to achieve perfection. But we can certainly respond, I hope in a fair manner, to the legitimate concerns and the legitimate questions asked by the opposition." On Congress Kerala's "Bidis and Bihar start with B..." now-deleted tweet, he says, "That is over now. I don't want to berate the point; it's been taken down. I think whatever has to be said about that has been said already."

Absolutely Shocking! Former CEC S. Y. Quraishi calls the recent developments in Nepal a sign of “vibrant democracy” — not anarchy. But given his record, this reckless comment is hardly surprising. It was during Quraishi’s tenure that the Election Commission of India signed an MoU with the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) — an outfit linked to George Soros’s Open Society Foundation, a known deep state operator and a close associate of the Congress party and the Gandhis. Worse, in a separate conversation, Quraishi himself admitted that after the 2007 UP Assembly elections, a “big leader” called him, complaining: “आपने हमारे बोगस वोटर्स को वोट देने नहीं दिया।” At the time, Quraishi was one of the Election Commissioners, and the Samajwadi Party, notorious for its Muslim appeasement politics, was in power but lost the election. If Quraishi knew this, why has he shielded the leader all these years? Was the SP indulging in Vote Chori? Who was this leader? This raises a larger question: If Quraishi knew about shifted, absent and dead (SAD) voters on the rolls, why did he never order a Special Intensive Revision (SIR)? He was EC from 2006–2010 and later CEC from 2010–2012 — it was his constitutional duty to act! In fact, neither he nor those who came after him — whether Ashok Lavasa, O. P. Rawat or others — lifted a finger to clean up our compromised voter lists for over 23 years, since the last SIR in 2003. And yet, these very people are now the media’s “go-to” critics of the current SIR. Let’s not forget: back then, the Prime Minister alone appointed the CEC. Today, a three-member panel, including the Leader of Opposition, makes that decision. The old guard owes its posts entirely to the Congress system, and it shows. It is time to call out these insipid tenures. Those who failed their duty then cannot now lecture the nation. Contesting ideas is welcome, but accountability must begin with those who had the chance — and did nothing.

✊ Data belongs to the people. Democracy runs on transperancy West Bengal's Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026 data ie. the data that determines whether your name stays on the voter list, is technically "public." But try accessing it. You'll hit CAPTCHAs. Download limits. Scanned PDFs that no machine can read. Data buried so deep it may as well not exist. So we did something about it. Sabar Institute, with the help of our researcher Souptik Halder and support from our team of SABIR AHAMED, Ashin Chakraborty and Sohail Mallick has built free, open, interactive maps of SIR 2026 data across all 294 West Bengal Assembly constituencies and we're making them available to every journalist, researcher, activist, and citizen who needs them. 🪦 ASDD Deletion Map — See exactly where voters are being deleted as Absent, Shifted, Dead, or Duplicate. Track overall deletion %, gender ratio, death counts, untraceable voters — assembly by assembly, on a live map. ⚖️ Supplementary Adjudication Map — Follow the adjudication trail: who's under review, how many were added or deleted, what percentage are still pending — across every single constituency. Why does this matter? Because mass deletions from voter rolls don't affect everyone uniformly. They happen in specific places, to specific communities, in patterns that deserve scrutiny. You cannot scrutinize what you cannot see. 🔗 Link to explore the map is in the next tweet If this work matters to you, support us using the link below👇 #DataForBetterLives
