1. I haven't seen any footage showing it hit anything. 2. If VAR did intervene, then the snicko showed that the ball hit nothing. There was nothing.

It was looked at and there was no indication from the in-ball technology that it hit anything. It's mad how many people this morning are literally crying out for even more ways to disallow goals than we already have

This fool retired after 2012–13. He hasn’t been involved with VAR stop scrapping the bottom of the barrel and getting irrelevant people. The ball doesn’t touch the cable fifa have made that clear

Sadly football at the top level is becoming an unwatchable sport. Even if it did hit the cam Norway had plenty of opportunities to prevent the Bellingham goal. We can’t let VAR and scared refs to destroy this beautiful game.

Mr Halsey - In your own words the ball “appears” to hit the camera cable, yet the evidence that FIFA have clearly indicates there was no contact with the cable, so no there was no case/argument for VAR to intervene or for the referee to have cancelled the goal.

The ball 100% hit the cable & saying otherwise is outright false.
