Growing up we didn’t do depression. You either found a way to push through or prayed it away. So, initially shame, embarrassment & ego kept me guarded. From a distance, I couldn’t tell what it was, but after they flew off, I went to check and found it was a paper straw. Scenes like this really frustrate me. We all need to do our bit to reduce waste. And yes, I did take the straw to the bin.
