🦊 i finished wrapping up first my solo recently and as words from people around me started influencing me, it really stressed me out and it really started swaying my identity as a person…i was really burnt out for 3 months 🦊 i used to be someone that told people everything when i was going through a hard time like “i’m going through a tough time right now” but i don’t know when it started, but i couldn’t get myself to tell people around me anymore 👤 i wonder why? was it out of consideration for them? 🦊 that could be why…and i also felt like i needed to learn how to overcome things myself 🦊 i didn’t say anything to anyone and was going through it myself…then i thought about namjoon hyung so i went to him and asked him a lot of questions and one of the things he said to me was that he hopes i face the things that make me uncomfortable 🦊 i had conflicts with soobin and we had awkward phases but i wanted to erase all of these things one by one and i feel like there were also a lot of things that i had been misunderstanding, coming to think of it now…so i went up to soobin first and said “hey, let’s go get a drink”

I started therapy looking for excuses not solutions. Reasons to be who I wanted to be were more attractive than guidance to be who I needed to. The idea of counseling was new to me. Growing up we didn’t do depression. You either found a way to push through or prayed it away. So, initially shame, embarrassment & ego kept me guarded. I wasn’t allowing therapy to work, because essentially I was lying about who I truly was! Until one, day I said, “eff it. I’m telling it all”, & that was the first day of accountability… the first day of healing. #RCconfessionals #MentalHealthAwareness #Therapy

Jeongyeon : I started exercising with unnie for the first time. My sister really hates doing active things. She’s totally a homebody. But because of me, she started playing tennis, and we even did boxing together. She always came with me because of me, even after finishing her schedules. Thanks to my unnie, I was able to recover well and become healthy again, and I’m really grateful for that.

It was lovely watching these magpies playing with this bark until one of them picked up something that clearly didn’t belong in nature. From a distance, I couldn’t tell what it was, but after they flew off, I went to check and found it was a paper straw. Scenes like this really frustrate me. We all need to do our bit to reduce waste. And yes, I did take the straw to the bin.
