What was the game changer for me: figuring out how to hold things with just one hand to take a break, section the hair better and separating each strand I section of from top to bottom before incorporating. Also separating your three working strands frequently top to bottom. Wide tooth (wood) comb is my saviour. I don’t use anything else honestly. Comb the ends and slowly work up if needed (this is how I always comb anyways).

Normally when my babe doing French or Dutch braids I will have to comb the end out as I go otherwise it will keep getting tangled. I have noticed this issue has gotten worse the longer my hair has gotten and yours is longer than mine.

Impressive

I think it looks really good. I’ve been trying to learn how to do french and dutch braids and I’m not having much luck. It seems like my hair just slips out and gets really messy. I can never get it to lay flat on my head. Have you been practicing a long time? Maybe I just need more practice.

That must be some sort of a World Record, is it not?

Muscle memory!

Years of practice in every twist...mad talent

Talented for sure
