I’ve been seeing a lot of negative comments about my weight recently I and wanted to address them directly. As many of you know, I suffer from severe PMDD. It is a disorder that drastically affects my day to day life and requires multiple specialists as well as an always changing and detailed health regimen to manage. I have good weeks, bad weeks, and horrible weeks, which is just what living with PMDD is like. One treatment option we tried was a new birth control that is FDA approved to help with PMDD symptoms. Unfortunately, it did not work for me and also caused me to gain 25 pounds in under 3 months. We are moving to try new treatments. While gaining the weight wasn’t intentional, I am learning to love my new curves while I focus on my health. Commenting on someone’s weight, especially when you don’t know what they’re going through, is pointless and cruel. All that said, the vast majority of you have always been loving and supportive of me. You are the people who inspire me and that I appreciate fully. Beauty has always come in all shapes and sizes. In fact, we never imagined that you would come to the scene in person. Originally, we planned to issue a support announcement on the day of the performance, invite Hangzhou offline Paca to watch, and start the live broadcast synchronously, so that more online Paca can witness it together. But the day before the performance, we received a notice from the organiser that you may clock in according to the schedule. At the same time, we were specially told not to release any support information in advance. Because the performance site is located in one of the landmark areas of Hangzhou, the flow of people is dense, and government activities will be held near the performance site on that day, the size of the crowd and the order of the scene must be strictly controlled. Gm🌅 - As your day gets off to the start of a new week, so your week gets off to the start of a new day. Each new day we have the opportunity to grow clearer and dive deeper… an opportunity we often disregard or simply do not consider. The masters of spiritual lineages the world over have known for millennia that the mind exists as a spectrum - ranging from conscious thru subconscious to unconscious. In the modern day, we tend to refer to these aspects of the mind as separate, but in fact they are a fluid and singular expression. By choosing to wake up and be present with our thoughts, to meditate or simply practice mindfulness in the early morning, we undergo the process of cleaning out our circular subconscious thought loops. As we do this for days, months and eventually years, we begin to have greater and greater clarity and are able to access and utilize the vast power of the subconscious mind in every more conscious, creative and intentional ways. In recent years I’ve heard many times that people refer to others as NPC’s, which for those who do not know, means “non-player characters” or in other words the characters in multiplayer video games which are not another real person but rather some algorithm. We use this derogatory definition of others when they are acting in unconscious ways, as if just some line of code defines their actions. Of course, if we are being honest, we all sink into this lazy way of living at times… a mirror we rarely wish to gaze into. It is only thru the practice of ending the circular lines of subconscious code can we elevate our lives to the role of main character. I’m curious, how have you managed to lift the fog of distraction in your life? When have you felt the most clear? Do you feel as though you play the role of main character? Do you ever recognize that you’re being more of an NPC? Who in your life helps you love more consciously? Every morning you have a choice. You can wake up carrying your bags from yesterday. Dragging all the days before it. Space to paint a new canvas with the originality of the moment. Without this space, life becomes repetitive. The same thoughts loop. The same feelings return. The same patterns play out again and again. You become a machine running old programs. Conformity thrives on this repetition. But freshness breaks the pattern. When you approach each day as your first day, you're not bound by who you were yesterday or limited by what failed last week. You're not trapped in the story you've been telling yourself. You are simply here. Now. Relaxed. Show up as you are. Raw and real and present. Nature will meet you there. The cold will meet you there. Your true self will meet you there. This is celebration. This week marks the 25th anniversary of the King of Queens. By the time I signed on as Carrie Heffernan, I had been to hundreds of auditions, was cast in many pilots and some short-lived series, and was finally offered The King Of Queens. As soon as production started on season one, I knew I was home, and I am blessed to say I was part of a truly special show that went on for nine seasons and 207 episodes and still lives on successfully in syndication. Our cast was amazing...Kevin James, Jerry Stiller, Gary, Patton, Victor, Nicole. They all made me laugh every day. Our gifted guest and recurring cast made the show what it is. Working with the cast, crew, and our awesome and dedicated writers and producers was a dream come true for an actress. I want to let you all know that I see the comments where you say that you fall asleep every night to The King of Queens, that it got you through a rough day and tough times in your lives, that you laughed for the first time in your day watching us, or that you watch several episodes a day, or that you and your family bond over watching the episodes in syndication. One fan commented that her family is a three-generation King of Queens household: her mom watches it, she watches it, and now her daughter watches it. Leg Press is the other most-commonly-done-poorly exercise I see at the gym. Here's what I do to grow the quads (leg day brought to you by Maison du Coq): - Lower the weight. Probably a lot. If you can do 10 plates/side, your form *likely* sucks - Feet LOW of platform. We want most of the bend/tension to be in the knee/quad, rather than just the hip/glute - If applicable, make your seat is leaned back - Go as far down/deep as possible. Might have to improve hip and ankle mobility to get the most out of it here. It's OK if your knees go in front of your toes. That whole thing is a myth - You can use straps to hold onto the handles, and pull like no tomorrow - CFRT, smooth and controlled on the way down, explosive and controlled on the way up Congrats. You're now one of the 0.001% of people who do this exercise well!
