Fable 5 (max) “build a clash of clans clone” Fable absolutely destroys Sonnet 5, and I’ll show that in an upcoming comparison video. I did give it one follow-up while it was working, basically telling it I only needed a demo and didn’t need it to overthink the whole thing, so it ended up being only around 2,500 lines. The funny part is it still grabbed the Clash of Clans assets with no trouble, which genuinely surprised me. I missed this model so much.

Fable 5 returns today. Sonnet 5 dropped yesterday. Both stories in one video. Sonnet 5 uses 1.35x more tokens than Sonnet 4.6. Sonnet models are supposed to be fast, cheap, and efficient. Sonnet 5 is none of those. Fable 5 is back but moves to usage based billing on July 7. BridgeBench is rerunning every benchmark to see if it returns nerfed. Full breakdown below.

Fable 5 is BACK on AI/ML API We gave Sonnet 5 and Fable 5 the exact same prompt and same real flight dataset of 70 airports and 435 routes pulled from flightradar. Then asked each one to turn it into a cinematic 3D globe as a single HTML file. Outputs: Sonnet 5: 9.8k tokens, $0.10 Fable 5: 15k tokens, $0.77 Sonnet 5 came in 87% cheaper. It drew the routes, but the planet underneath them barely exists: a dark wireframe with the arcs floating in space. Fable 5 built an actual Earth: textured oceans, ice caps, atmospheric glow. Mythos-class models are truly a masterpiece. Docs, guides & setup below:

Big day for Claude fans! We now have Sonnet 5 and Fable is back tomorrow 🙏 I saw a lot of misunderstandings about Sonnet 5, so I rushed out a video to try and break it down.

Claude Opus 5 vs Claude Fable 5, round 3. same prompt: "create Apple's next launch email flow for a brand new product, 12 emails, using Nitrosend." both of them invented a product Apple doesn't make. Opus 5 is getting rave reviews this week...Opus or Fable here?

fable 5 dönüşünün ilk testleri gelmeye başladı, bir tanesi fena. adam modele tek satır veriyor: “clash of clans klonu yap.” max effort’ta bırakıyor. çalışırken tek bir müdahalesi var, “demo yeter, bütün oyunu kasma” diyor. model kapsamı kendisi daraltıyor ve işi 2.500 satır civarında bağlıyor. adamın iddiası net: sonnet 5’i ezdi. asıl şaşırtan kısım şu: model clash of clans asset’lerini kimse istemeden kendisi bulup çekmiş. test eden bile buna “beni gerçekten şaşırttı” diyor. agentic dediğin şeyin iyi yüzü de ürkütücü yüzü de aynı karede. kapanış cümlesi her şeyi özetliyor: “bu modeli çok özlemişim.” 3 hafta fişi çekik durdu, dönüşü böyle karşılanıyor
