Factory 1.8 is here. And with it come new ways to automate and delegate software development with your Droids. Now in your favorite tools like Linear, Slack, and Sentry.

1. Delegate tickets in @linear Assign an issue to Factory and a Droid will complete it end-to-end with full engineering context. Updates stream in the Activity tab and jump into the live session anytime.

2. Ask questions and create PRs with @SlackHQ delegation Simply "@" mention Factory in a thread to spin up a headless session. Pick the workspace, receive a link in-channel, and track progress live. On your laptop or mobile.

3. Headless CLI (droid exec) Droid exec is our non-interactive headless mode of Droid. It's a one-shot command that’s ideal for CI/CD pipelines, shell scripts, and batch processing. Droid exec is great for large batch refactors and tests.

4. Solve incidents faster with our @getsentry x @linear integration Assign an issue to Sentry to RCA an issue. Then assign the fix to Factory.
