Failing is part of the process

This pops up just as I get in the car and Toto's Africa starts playing 😭🤣 Avoiding Lean Cuisines for the next 24 hours lol

Every classic hour was built on nights of bombing – Pryor and Carlin rebuilt whole acts in front of rooms that weren't laughing yet. Patton's right, failing IS the process, and it always has been. The whole craft story, lecture hall to the Mothership:

Wokeness and comedy don’t mix. 🤷🏽♀️

True, each setback fuels future success.

Patton is my favorite. I used to listen to him on Pandora while delivering food and had all the good stuff ❤️🩷 still love you!

I got a residency at the Banff Art Centre years ago. The head of Ceramics, Les Manning, welcomed us and explained all the facilities, staff and resources that were available to us, to help us achieve something we never thought possible. Then he said, "We encourage you to fail."

~Don’t worriy, I understand your pancake ass, dude. All good

"Nobody cared" I find that's the most important thing to remember in anything I do (fucking anxiety😆). As long as I'm genuinely trying, I try to remind myself that that's good enough. Nobody's looking, and even if they were, they won't care tomorrow.

For me it's how do I know I'm funny truly funny enough? I'm a smart ass that's funny but I don't wanna look like a total dumbass unintentionally. Ya know? You give me hope to try one day. I'm also old so that's an issue. You started young and age like fine wine. Your wife too

"Ron Paul's policies are like a bowl of ice cream with a little bit of shit in it." "The EPCOT centre featuring Venom." "How many people crashed because they loved the song on the radio?!" @AnthonyCumia "Hate his politics..."

You'd know

So true. The world don’t care. Do you. Love Patton.

On a scale of 1-10 How much do you enjoy watching another comedian fail on stage? 10 being a must watch.

Beautifully said 🧡

20 % of award winning editor in the last 30 years have been female—do you just keep oppression narrative going from—-guilt? Or sumpin? (I’m making this with a stick. Emerging is Godly)

Patton has a very intelligent approach to comedy. That's half the battle. You also have to be actually funny. And he does that too.

“The Magician” is still one of the best bits ever
