Fall damage in Red Dead Redemption 2 is extremely realistic If Arthur falls on his head, you can see bruises and cuts on his skin. That's not all of it of course, clothes get dirty too and you can see him clearly expressing discomfort after taking damage.

In one of the Grand Theft Auto VI screenshots that Rockstar Games shared back in May 2025, you can see some large fires in Ambrosia. Red Dead Redemption 2 was notorious for having extremely realistic fire physics and I can't wait to see how Rockstar will work upon that. Based on this screenshot alone you can see how much better it looks and how the smoke effects are much more realistic. Setting something on fire could last much longer and the fire could also grow much larger depending on weather conditions.

I don't think I've ever seen fire physics as realistic as in Red Dead Redemption 2. If all of this was possible on a PS4 console, can you imagine how good fire physics will be on Grand Theft Auto 6 when it comes out later this year?

Did you know that there's a vampire in Red Dead Redemption 2 which you can encounter in Saint Denis? The event is triggered by finding five strange messages clues around the city at night, which reveal a pentagram pointing to his exact location. Once you find him, you can see the vampire is already sucking on someone's blood and then he tries to attack you, I just hogtied him and send him on a nice trip to the river.

I wanted to dungeons multi-layered wth some verticality and shortcuts rather than checkpoints. There's also items in places just to taunt you. If you can see it, then you can get there you can fall quite a large distance without taking damage too... #robloxdev #roblox

The only game that is closest to Red Dead Redemption 2 Greet/Antagonize mechanism definitely is Kingdom Come Deliverance II. In Crimson Desert, you can greet NPCs and threaten them but Cliff as a protagonist doesn't talk much if not at all.

Horses also poop regularly, have a weight system and even NPCs will comment depending on how you maintain your horse.
