I can't believe that Nvidia looked at this "AI on top of games filter" and said to themselves this is the future of gaming. Like it or not, this is where Nvidia is heading and they're calling it neural rendering with DLSS 5. The examples they've showed reminded me a lot of those AI generated filter videos on top of GTA V, except that now it is supposed to run in real-time. Honestly, I don't like this current look at all

DLSS 5 is making its way to Hogwarts Legacy on November 5th and it looks like it has been toned down, you can barely tell there's a difference between it being turned ON VS OFF It adds a layer of shadows to the characters albeit the colors look more muted. This is still much better compared to what Nvidia showed back when they first introduced DLSS 5, however I can't help but think who would actually use this if the differences are extremely small to spot and the performance hit is high

I wanted to see how Insomniac approached Quick Time Events in Marvel Spider-Man VS Marvel Wolverine and the difference is clear When you fail to complete a QTE, they don't auto-complete or have the screen freeze entirely. What you do get instead is a different cutscene where Spider-Man fails to act after your lack of input. Its not an immediate death screen but if you don't complete any of them, you will get a death screen in the end.
