In 2021, I discovered and recreated a mind-blowing physical privacy project: a custom baseball cap fitted with infrared diodes that can hide you from surveillance cameras (hello, Flock!). It was an incredible experience, but unfortunately there weren’t enough buyers. I just stumbled across an old video from that time… The most fascinating (and slightly unsettling) part of this tech is that, in theory, you could make a facial-recognition camera see a completely different person instead of you. Pretty dangerous stuff! Do you think there’s still demand for devices like this? 🤔

Once you can see the power of photosynthetic capacity maximization and plant expression…you can’t unsee it. That is my reason on this 🌍… I think A farmer that didn’t have a full time gig on the farm….turned landscaper…lost his dad so had to fill his shoes with a different lens. This is a real, important road ag must see. I’ll keep sharing until you all see it.

I tried the 220° FOV #VirtualReality optical system by Hypervision, which employs two micro-OLED displays per eye. It is incredibly immersive, and I describe all my impressions in my latest article: The thing that surprised me the most is that the "seam" between the two lenses becomes almost invisible when you put your eyes in. And the company claims it can even do better than this. Will we see this soon in some consumer VR headsets? It is actually a bit too expensive (just the cost of the displays is $1.5K!), but hopefully it could be integrated in enterprise ones... my two favorite people saying the same thing “just give it a try” 🥹 🦌: the most important thing is to just give it a try. i think the idea of taking that first step is one of the most important things in life 🦮: moments when we have to make big decisions can be scary, and i think that's completely normal. but the fact that something feels scary also means it’s a very important opportunity. that’s why i think it’s important to really think about what you want and then just give it a try. because if you don’t try, you’ll definitely regret it later on

Made this commercial demo entirely with Seedance 2.0 via Yapper Everything you see here is done by one single prompt shot, from the cuts, edits, graphic effects, to the voice over. Basically within the prompt I gave detailed instructions on how many shots I wanted, the timestamps, the copywriting, visual and graphic effects, etc. The full prompt sample is available for my subscribers only in the comment section below ⏬ + + + There are so many use cases for Seedance 2.0 instead of just recreating existing IP. I think for me as a copywriter, what I like about it is that I can create a pre-visualization of an ad we're about to make, with its specific tone and style. Like I said before, the AI generated content here wasn't meant to be the final product, but rather a starting point for our creative direction regarding the potential style that will go into our ads. It's just that it's now so much faster to iterate ideas, and to test many different concepts with Gen-AI. Like I've always said, the technology is here, and it's up to you how you want to use it.

I still see AI video framed in simple terms: prompt in, clip out. What caught my attention about PixVerse Live Party, an early experiment that explores a more interactive direction. It features Reina, an AI fan host, in a football themed experience where users can join in around cheering and share AI generated moments. This is the experiment I was looking at: I would not describe it as a finished livestreaming product. To me, it is an early look at how AI video could move beyond standalone clips and become part of a more social, character driven experience.

When I play arcade games at home, I could just set them to free play, but I actually prefer inserting coins myself. The sound of the coin rolling in and the credit counter going up is a huge part of the experience for me. It really brings back the feeling of being in an arcade back then. That’s why I even use an old cigarette ashtray as a coin holder. At first, I bought a chair that looked similar to an arcade stool, but the height felt strangely uncomfortable. So I ended up ordering actual Japanese arcade stools from a company in Japan, and the height is just perfect👌 Once you own an arcade cabinet, collecting little accessories like that becomes part of the fun too. And when you hang game posters on the wall, the whole atmosphere becomes incredible😆

As always everyone is blind staring at the progress of LLMs for coding and chat But meanwhile the new SOTA video model Seedance 2.5 has been slowly rolling out and it's really quite exceptional It's made by ByteDance (TikTok) who of course have lots of training data With just a few reference pics, it can get quite close to how you look IRL and you can do quite professional video shots with just a prompt I'd say it's the first video model that's now at the level of image models with the level of character likeness, cracking that in image models also took about 3 years (2022-2025) Generating 15 seconds takes about 4 minutes I put it live now on Photo AI, you can use it under [ Make video ] from the sidebar with just a prompt and your model selected! So you don't need to take an AI photo first and then turn that into a video! Saves lots of time :D It's more expensive than but I kept the credits the same (30 for 1 video) It also works inside the new video editor and you can make changes in your video with [ Magic edit ] in both the main app and the video editor Also a message for my server guy Daniel Lockyer (it can do voice too and you can even submit a voice sample of yourself, but I didn't here)
