Soybean yields are at risk, input costs keep rising, and many will struggle to make their payments. You cannot claim to support farmers while making it more expensive for them to survive. The Constitution says taxes must originate in the House because the House is closest to the people. We fought a revolution over taxation without representation. If we ignore that now, we invite chaos. And that chaos is exactly what our farmers are living.
