When we in Kashmir talk about Rationalisation of Reservation, what we actually want to say is beautifully articulated by Waheed Ur Rehman Para in this clip. After years of silence, the first voice that unanimously came out of Kashmir was about RESERVATION. When we spoke of rationalisation, we were not asking for privilege or ridiculing or tickling reservation, we were demanding the right share that Kashmir deserves. We are fighting for empowerment. In a region where government jobs remain one of the few paths to economic mobility and representation in govt offices, exclusion is not just a policy issue, it is political disempowerment. It's a question of existential issue staring at Kashmiris. The call for rationalisation of reservation started from the Valley itself, because the data that was coming out had exposed the truth that Kashmiris were being systematically kept away from all the institutions. Kashmiris, already marginalised under the security prism, see merit as their only recourse for a better future, even talent and years of hard work is failing to open doors due to skewed Reservation policy. Fair representation based on population is not a favour we are demanding, it is our Constitutional right. And until Kashmiris are given their rightful place in their own land, every promise of peace, progress, and opportunity will remain hollow. #Reservation #SaveOM

The President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, made a strong statement at the summit of Arab and Islamic countries in Doha: "The attack on Doha showed that no Arab country is immune to strikes from the Zionist regime. We must not only speak but also act. Words will not stop the genocide. The aggressor can only be stopped by isolation and unity. When a rebellious regime receives military and diplomatic support, it feels impunity." At the end of his speech, the president addressed all the summit leaders: "He who is indifferent to the fate of Muslims is not a Muslim himself!"

In India, the world’s largest democracy, senior Hindu leaders from Narendra Modi’s ruling #Hindu nationalist party are openly calling for the social and economic boycott of minority Muslims. Please take a look at the accompanying video to find out how much the Hindu #BJP leaders hate #Muslims in #India, how they incite attacks against them, and how they target to marginalise them in the Hindu majority nation. Saumitra Khan, a prominent BJP leader in West Bengal and a sitting MP, is advising Hindus not to rent out apartments to Muslims or sell them lands or houses. Another BJP leader, former MP Arjun Singh, is asking Hindus to socially and economically boycott Muslims. He is advising Hindus to adopt the means to push minority Muslims to the bottom of society. He tells Hindus not to buy anything from Muslim-owned shops, not to use vehicles run by Muslims, and not to give Muslims any work or engage in any business transaction with them. Over the past years, many international organisations have repeatedly reported that Hindu nationalist groups in India have routinely persecuted minority Muslims and Christians and that the perpetrators have largely gone unpunished. Since Narendra Modi’s party came to power in 2014, the persecution of the religious minorities has increased steadily. We all know that the Hindutva groups who attack and persecute minorities are patronised by the BJP and act as the party’s foot soldiers on many fronts. A large section of Hindus derives a sadistic pleasure from witnessing the persecution and suffering of minorities. They believe that only the BJP can “treat" Muslims and Christians “the way it is needed". Indian law prescribes punishment or imprisonment for delivering hate speech. However, after issuing hate speeches —particularly against minorities— Hindu leaders usually escape accountability. A few Hindutva leaders have faced brief jail terms for openly calling for the extermination of minorities or urging Hindus to carry out violent attacks against them. However, after being released, they usually resume issuing the same sort of hate speeches against Muslims as before. In India, they are considered bigger Hindu leaders who are more aggressive in their speeches against Muslims. In the BJP, these leaders win handsome rewards like election tickets or are given other plum party positions. The BJP-led Indian government and the Indian mainstream media often claim that minority Hindus in #Bangladesh are being persecuted. But can anyone present a single instance where a senior Muslim political or religious leader in Bangladesh has issued openly aggressive calls against minority Hindus, the way the BJP leaders in India often call for the social and economic boycott of minority Muslims? Can anyone show evidence of a senior Muslim leader in Bangladesh asking Muslims not to rent out houses to Bangladeshi Hindus, not to sell them land or a flat to them, or to boycott them socially and economically? No, they will not be able to present such evidence. We can safely assert that Muslim-majority Bangladesh is more secular than Hindu-majority India.

I Return to Jama Masjid After Month-Long Restrictions Condemn Brutal Killings, Pay Tribute to Victims and Rescuers Urge Safety for Kashmiris, Denounce Media Vilification Today, after more than one month, authorities allowed me to come to Jama Masjid. Repeatedly, I am barred from delivering the Friday sermon and offering prayers here, which, while being condemnable, is cruel to me and all those who come here to listen to the sermon, and to all Muslims of the valley who are deeply upset by such measures. I once again ask the authorities to desist from pursuing the approach of bans and bars. Sadly, during this time, we had to witness a terrifying incident which has left our hearts bleeding. The manner in which a carnage was carried out—more than two dozen people killed after ascertaining their identities and in front of their families—is shocking and chilling beyond belief. We strongly condemn it. Who better can understand the pain and grief of loss to the families of those affected than a people who have suffered it for decades and still continue to. Today, as I say this, as per the Islamic calendar, it is the 36th martyrdom anniversary of my father, Shaheed-e-Millat Mirwaiz Molvi Mohammad Farooq, and seventy others who lost their lives on this tragic day. Our hearts go out to these families who will never see their loved ones again, and our prayers are with them. We also pray for the speedy recovery of those injured. Kashmiris have always opened their hearts and homes to outsiders, especially tourists. Known for our hospitality to visitors, people of Kashmir once again upheld the tradition of outreach, help, and humanity in this distressing time. Being left helpless, locals helped those at the spot to flee, even at the risk to their own lives, in which pony operator Adil Hussain lost his life. We pay homage to this brave young Kashmiri who gave the ultimate sacrifice of life while saving that of others. Others rushed the injured, some even on their backs, trekking miles to hospitals. Kashmiris, in every manner, reached out to help the distressed tourists, as can be seen in videos where tourists are thanking them for opening up their homes to them, giving them food and free taxi rides to airports and other destinations, and even providing emotional support. People observed a complete shutdown, held spontaneous and silent protests, and candlelight vigils in memory of those killed in this horrific manner. The people of Kashmir send a strong message of their total disapproval of such actions and their solidarity and sympathy with the bereaved by standing shoulder to shoulder with them. Yet a large section of mainstream media, with its communal rhetoric of hate directed against Kashmiris, has made Kashmiris across India vulnerable, forcing hundreds to leave cities and towns, especially the students, causing great distress to their families and to all of us. I appeal to the concerned governments in different states of India to ensure the safety of our students and all other Kashmiris. I also ask the authorities to allow me to visit the injured in hospitals and to the house of Adil Hussain to pay my condolences to the family of this brave heart. Prior to prayers, in solidarity with the bereaved families, we will observe one minute of silence.

Meet Ayesha Suleman from Pakistan, who was born Tina Sharma in Indian Punjab. This guy is riding on a horse from Madinah to Badr tracing the Prophet and ~300 of his companion’s steps who did this same journey during this blessed month of Ramadan to engage in the greatest battle in Islam’s history. What makes that journey even more special is the Muslims only had TWO horses. Most had to walk in that heat. On that terrain. Only For Allah’s sake. Only to spread His word. It’s their sacrifice as to why we are able to live life as Muslims. Never forget that. And NEVER venerate or label as martyrs those who denigrate and Takfir them.

In my interview with Senator Tommy Tuberville Coach Tommy Tuberville this week, I asked if the Senator would support a BAN on Muslims serving in Congress. Senator Tuberville, who is one of the strongest advocates against the jihadi invasion of this country, said that he doesn’t see a way to prevent Muslims who “assimilate” from serving in Congress. I’ve got a solution: we must accept that Islam is NOT a religion. IT IS A LEGAL CODE. Adherents of Sharia Law abuse our Constitution by claiming they should have religious exemptions from our laws so they can enforce their own. We MUST pass a bill banning muslims from serving in Congress. The bill should articulate that adherents of Sharia Law are invading this country, disguised as Muslim immigrants, to spread their archaic, barbarous legal system to usurp our legal system. This bill intentionally invites a Supreme Court challenge to Article VI, Clause 3 of the US Constitution. SCOTUS must weigh in on whether or not Sharia adherents are Muslims and if Muslims are Sharia adherents. Should the Supreme Court fail to recognize the existential peril facing our nation by the onslaught of jihad, Congress and the States must then move to amend the US Constitution. Such an Amendment could go even further: blocking Muslims from serving in Congress, denaturalizing muslims based on their bad faith Oaths of Allegiance, and deporting all non US-born muslims from our country. We can and we MUST save America. The framers of the Constitution gave us everything we need to handle this situation. God Bless brave patriots like Tommy Tuberville, Congressman Randy Fine, and Chip Roy for their anti-Sharia legislation!
