Any possibility of rasters to change the road and terrain colour to give a little more feeling of movement in the terrain section? You may get away with 6-8 raster interrupts matching the white lines on the road.

I'd love to do so, but the few existing rasters I have are causing enough pain. In order to get the rendering speed I need, the Blitter is performing large writes in Hog mode, so I'm having to stop 3-4 lines early for the rasters I do have with the CPU sat in an idle loop. 😞
