FASTER for #AtariSTE: this is the feature complete v1.0 build that I'll be submitting to the Silly Venture 2024 WE demoparty game compo from 5th - 8th December 2024. The game will be made available to the public right after the demoparty, and the source code will follow. 👍🚗

Yep, that shouldn't be a problem at all. The rules of the Sillyventure compo specify that any prod shown at the party needs to be freeware anyway.

Ah thanks! I've probably said it before but it means a lot coming from somebody with your history and calibre. I have high hopes for the compo even though I might be the only ST game entry. 😀

All that's needed in this masterpiece is 2 or 3 layers of scrolling parallax for the horizon's view. 😁 gamers can wish, right? tee hee Awesome build!

There would certainly be CPU time for that parallax background in a version specifically enhanced for the 16MHz Mega STE, if anybody could be bothered once the source is released. 😀
