@fema @FEMA Reportedly @HHSGov has an extra $126 million that they carved out for bird flu vaccines. A better use of that money would be to extend hotel vouchers for the Helene victims in NC, TN. Can @FEMA @HHSGov make that happen? The WH also has extra billions, spending daily.

I need to talk to Cameron Hamilton as our new interim FEMA director. I’ll even put on a smiley face so my posts don’t get suppressed, but can y’all please help amplify this? We have a major breakdown in communications… And that breakdown is leaving people out in the freezing mountain cold. We were promised FEMA vouchers could run to May but that is not happening. The same energy we would have if it was a group of white people doing this to a black mom and her child is the same energy we need to have now. Those children need to be held accountable and parents need to be doing a MUCH better job. This is completely unacceptable. We need to be more accountable and make better decisions. Our standard is FAR TOO LOW.
