I have a question regarding this, where are the hotel owners and their sense of charity? I get that you need to be paid to keep things open but in a life or death situation I don't understand why you wouldn't let people stay just during the storm. Even if this meant doubling them up per room or letting them sleep in the lobby. Everybody is trying to survive together. Where are they on this? Do they know how much Goodwill this would buy for their brand? As far as I'm concerned if they were really concerned with money this would be a good investment.

So ridiculous I was lucky don’t need vouchers that they approved me for but got denied for the generator I bought to help my town get showers and fresh drinking water 😞😞

Why do FEMA assholes make everything as difficult as possible? Anyone who has shelter on FEMA vouchers should be auto-renewed. No categories and NO ONE put out in weather! This shit about YOU contact FEMA, YOU be aware of deadlines, YOU find phone, fax, internet to do anything. These people are trying to feed their families, provide warm clothes and shelter. Continue to clean up debris, rebuild homes. Thank you, Shawn, I know you are a huge help, I always repost you. We are all sick of FEMA, the 3 out of 26 RV's they set up, these vouchers. So inefficient, useless. You'd think they'd step up to justify their jobs, but NO, just keep up bad work. 😥

We have similar situations and Kristi and I will be working with the states and we will work something where the farmers and be responsible. They have had people around for 10 or 15 years and they know them well, we will put them responsible, and issue a form of card or documents and the farmer will be responsible for these people.
