Used to fish for bluegill using corn kernels as a kid

I use to catch crappie, bluegill & perch on Spirit Lake in Iowa as kid in the mid 80s, I would find a boat cover on a dock so the reflection was killed, then I would dangle an ordinary fly lure in fish faces I see in the water and they would inhale it, you'll get tons of them
