#fbf from last year when we visited my old stomping grounds The Talk ! Ironically, we spoke about our son RJ checking a huge NEVER off his list with his very meaningful job with the Dodgers ✅ 🙏🏽 After just completing his ninth season, we have a monster game...

@TheTalkCBS @RodneyPeete9 HE IS AMAZINGLY INSPIRATIONAL!! I have been in awe of him since you guys had your reality show. And through your support and his journey it helped me understand my granddaughter whom was diagnosed as stage 2 non-verbal she is 7yrs old and she said “I want juice” and I cried.

@TheTalkCBS @RodneyPeete9 I will never cease to be in awe with what you & Rodney have done with your platform. Forget the total support given your own son (beyond words!), but the worldwide community of parents/people has been enlightened, uplifted & enriched in gigantic ways. #Respect

YOKO ONO: ONOCHORD, VENICE, 2004 Yoko: The world is divided in two industries. One is the War Industry and the other is the Peace Industry. The people in the War Industry are totally together. They don't have to talk to each other, even. They know exactly what they want to do. They want to go out there, kill and make money. But the people in the Peace Industry, which are us - we are so idealistic that each one of us criticises the other Peace Person in the Peace Industry. And we are always just arguing and we are wasting our energies doing that. So let's just forgive each other and see that we are in the Peace Industry and that's all that counts. Even if you are not marching for peace, just be yourself, being a florist, being a merchant, being a talior, anything. That way you're contributing to the Peace Industry. People are just concentrating on fear, confusion and anger. And therefore just for a moment, I'd like us to think about Love. In a very magical, straight way, John and I met in London and from then on we stood for Peace and Love. And when I do this kind of event. Well it is... I was inspired to do it, but I still think that I'm still with John in spirit. John and I created the country called Nutopia. Not Utopia, because there was Utopia as a concept already. And we wanted to create a new concept, so we just added N on it - Nutopia - and as a country. Well, that is the concept of a country. And we all are citizens of that country. And in my apartment in the Dakota Building, we put a little plaque on the back door, the kitchen door. It says 'Nutopian Embassy' and even now we have that. (laughs). Nutopia exists in our minds. And because of that, some people want to rebel against it. The reason some want to rebel against it is a good proof that it exists. I think that it was a terrible thing that happened in Chechnya. But we have to still keep our hopes up. And instead of giving up, we have to keep on sending the message of Love to each other. You say that I am the Ambassador of Peace. We are all Ambassadors of Peace. You are too. Everybody in this room are Ambassadors of Peace. Just the fact that we are not participating in War. The fact that we are here, and we are what we are, means that we are in the Peace Industry. All of us. John and I used to say that our apartment in the Dakota is a conceptual monastry, just for the two of us. And when we go out of the Dakota, we get so many people communicating with us, so it's very important that we had silence and quietness. And my apartment is a very small space compared to the world. And I need that for my peace of mind. You should be kind to each other. You should come together, hug each other, love each other, express our love to each other and we should make it work. We should finally create a world that is a totally an Earth for Us. So let's do it. Yoko Ono, OpenAsia Press Conference, whilst exhibiting Onochord, 2004 by Yoko Ono (Nutopia) at the Venice Biennale: OpenAsia 2004, Lido Di Venezia, Venice, Italy, 9 September 2004.

TRADING IS A BLESSING. Shot my first pro line firework show ever today and it literally was such a dream. Everything went so perfect. And I’m sitting there (you can see me sitting on the hill on the left ish) thinking like man. My son beat cancer. I beat the biggest drawdown of my career. I beat the deepest depression of my entire life. .. and I’m just so grateful man. seeing my family doing good is such a blessing. We grew up really poor. Everyone here, my uncle my sis my aunt (mom) my grandma we all lived in a tiny ass house sharing rooms with like 3 people, no toys or anything like that we played outside, rice and beans everyday type vibes, and everyone in the house working and grinding to help bring something to the table.. I never really saw it like this as a kid but what a blessing it was to grow up in such a way. I appreciate everything I have and especially moments like these so much when I can sit here and compare it to where we came from. We are still by no means “rich”; but baby we don’t gotta be rich to enjoy life. I’m rambling a bit here now but man trading made this all possible. To everyone that helped me get this shit setup, to the plugs that trained me and helped me set this up, to all my friends that are still around on here, to all the traders man. Thank you. Thank you for everything man the help the love the journey. It’s all such a blessing. Enjoy a snippet of a middle section and end of the show that went on for like 20 minutes 😂 (after a 20min consumer show).

So A16Z GAMES a16z speedrun 🧊 is in the books. It has been quite a ride for Avataros (story below) but since most won't read that far, huge shout out to our cohort lead Troy Kirwin for just being awesome, and andrew chen and the whole A16Z GAMES team for a truly excellent program. In August of last year we got accepted to Speedrun 2 in SF. My wife and I were expecting our 3rd child and we realized the little guy would be due to pop during the program. This was such an amazing opportunity that we moved heaven and earth to make it happen (shout out to the most amazing wife and mom in the world Meron Bratzel). But as things go, the day before I was set to get on a plane to San Francisco, I got a call from my wife. She was at a check-up with her OB. We were still more than 5 weeks away from the due date but they were going to keep her at the hospital indefinitely. I got to the hospital, spoke with my wife and the doctors, and then when I had a minute I called Troy and told him the situation. The A16Z Team got back to me nearly instantly and told me not to give it a second thought - come to Speedrun 3 instead. Little RoRo was born just a few days later, and he and his Mama were both in perfect health. And it turned out Speedrun 3 was held in my own backyard of LA at the new A16Z office, making it much more convenient for us with a newborn. Having this come full circle, with such an amazing response and result on all fronts is truly remarkable, and I'm so appreciative of everyone that has supported us along the way.

Athletico Madrid v Spurs Well, here I am again in Madrid. It’s my 4th time & I’ve not seen us win yet 🤦🏻‍♂️ We all know what happened at the Metropolitano stadium the last time, so I’m hoping for better luck this time. Tudor needs to get this team Performing tonight or he could well be toast soon. I don’t think we will get a result like the last encounter in 1963 when we won 5-1 in the European Cup final. Make no mistake, Simeone’s team is hard to beat at home with an 80% win rate. Atleti are strong, but not vintage, but still, that home advantage is huge. I expect intensity from both teams, plenty of cards, and maybe goals both ways. Their attack is so frightening, which might explain why they’ve scored 24 goals already in the UCL. It’s a big concern when we’ve conceded 2 goals a game for our last 9 games, a club record. Sorloth is a big 6ft 5 Btec Haarland threat, as is the class of Alvarez, and you just know Lookman is going to score against us. They are, however, not as strong defensively as they used to be, so I’m hoping somehow we can exploit that. Despite our lack of goals, we just need to be able to take back something to the Lane next week. With the chance to play a back 3 with Cuti, MVDV, and Danso for the first time that I can remember with Porto and Spence, I’m more hopeful. I’m going to go for a 2-2 draw, delusional probably, but without hope, there’s no point coming here to support the team. There are players in our team that will turn up and perform tonight to put themselves in the shop window looking for a move. #COYS 🤍💙

Arteta on Gyokeres: “Well, I think the level of attention on him hasn't changed since he signed to today. It's normal. Everybody was so excited to bring a nine into the club. We did it, we brought a player with an incredible goalscoring record that had to adapt to the league. “He had no preseason, the first few weeks were difficult because physically he wasn't in his best state and he's a player that needs that, like any other player in this league, almost to perform at that level. “Then he kicked on, I think he had a really good period and got injured. And now it's better. I saw a lot of positive things in the last two games that he's done, we need to continue to tweak and understand him a little bit better in certain situations and he needs to do the same, but that's about time. We have full support for him. “At the end, you have to experience it (scrutiny). You can imagine the global impact that you're going to have to deal with when you come to a big club and the expectations are as it is, but after you have to live it and living it is always slightly different to your imagination. “However, he's doing it with a With a lot of desire. I think his energy level, his commitment, it's absolutely top. We are here to help him because we've all been here, we all need time, there is always moments, and the strikers have moments. “They score more goals, less goals, and we need to be there for him. “I think so, yes (we’re going to see another level from Gyokeres in the second half of the season.”
