I continue telling my kids that this was one of the greatest accomplishments in the history of sports. Now that I’m older I also see how great of a coaching job this was by Herb and the staff. This hangs in our home as a reminder of what you can achieve if you believe in yourself and your teammates.

The memories from this will never be duplicated in another sporting event. Ever.

Still incredible even after 45 years. Jack O’Callahan’s smile is still the best.

“If you lose this game you will take it with you to your f***ing graves.” As Brooks started to leave the locker room, he stopped, turned around and added, … “Your f***ing graves.”

I was a 19 year old collage kid, me and a couple of guy locked ourselves in a dorm room with a couple of pizza and 3 cases of beer. We didn’t know the score, luckily no one spoiled it for us. Thanks for the memories.

To this day, the greatest sporting event I have witnessed!

It still busts me up watching you counting rows to find your dad. Just crazy it has been so many years.
