Senator Elizabeth Warren's attempts to dismantle Trump's effective policies are misguided. Federal workers should focus on efficiency, not union power plays. Trump's executive orders streamlined operations, cutting unnecessary union activities and ensuring government shutdowns don't halt essential services. Expanding VA healthcare is crucial, but it must be done without bloating bureaucracy. Warren's push for union empowerment only serves to entrench inefficiency. Her Accountable Capitalism Act is another attempt to prioritize bureaucracy over real economic growth. Let's focus on cutting waste, not expanding it.

The goal of reconciliation should be to reduce overall government spending by eliminating waste, fraud, and abuse and reducing needless and unnecessary spending. I oppose any and all efforts to reduce federal spending by taking money from the hard-earned pensions of federal workers. Employee benefits are not a gift. They are earned. I will not support and will not vote for the Oversight Committee's current budget reconciliation proposal reducing earned pension benefits for current federal employees.
