So, a couple of things…if the info had been put out stating that food was for our military, people would have reacted different. It appeared that Hegseth had bought the food for himself and his employees. Of course that info was left on purpose and then the food purchases were combined with the other random purchases, piano, fruit basket stands, etc. Also, justifying and stating it was normal to make such large expenditures in September bc of “use or lose” budget practices does not help.
