Feel How They Feel

I tell my kids when they’re whining: whining is feeling bad then trying to make other people feel bad too. Then we talk through whatever it is that’s making them feel upset. But I haven’t seen it framed on a broader scale like this. Fascinating.

Ah yes emotional manipulation, regardless if true. Better resolution is to love your emotion into its upgrade. You can do this for them, if true emotion, and they love their own emotion into its upgrade. Some will choose to stay stuck.

I think you’re making it more complicated than it needs to be. Some people have greater amounts of grey matter/ empathy and some don’t. Most people do what’s right for themselves first, not what’s right for the tribe

The purpose of yelling and screaming angrily is to transfer hurt.

Basically, how you feel is the reflection of how you feel deep internally, how you make others feel, and partially how others feel on their own partially because they would reflect that back too.
