Feel like this is a really harsh call on Josh Caulfield.

Unlike a dangerous tackle, I don’t think this is poor technique. Rather something more clumsy and getting a boot from Sinckler in the face has not helped.

Bealham literally gets a boot + studs to his face… What is harsh about the call? Intent not judged in law. This is dangerous and reckless. 🟥 all day long

No ways. How can no one see the force with which he brings that leg down is not a normal motion. Not the angle!

Not intentional but reckless and high degree of danger. Unlucky but not harsh

OK but why is his knee so high going into a ruck?

Looks intentional. Lots of time to move after he clearly saw a player’s head was nearby. Painted the wrong picture for ref and TMO. Can’t see any mitigation

Stamp on a face is an harsh call ? Is not like the face appeared out of thin air .. it was there well before the studs...

If you think a red card is harsh, get yourself a stamp in the face with rugby boots. #Peace 🕊️

I am DEFINITELY in the rules have gone mad category in regards to high tackles, levels of danger etc but what was Caulfield expecting to find at the end of his upper body. Normally that’s where people heads are…..😂😂 can’t believe people are justifying it
