Ever wondered why they heat asphalt in tankers? At first, it seems unnecessary. After all, it's just a truck carrying asphalt. But asphalt only behaves like a liquid when it's extremely hot. During transport, it's usually kept between 150 and 180°C so it can still be pumped out once it arrives. The moment it starts cooling, it gets thicker and stickier really fast. Namjoon about Like Animals💜 🐨: Like Animals.. 🐨: This was another song that originally came out of the pre-sessions, and it was actually a really sexual song at first. The lyrics were kind of like… you know? ‘If you wanna be animals, baby we can be animals…’ 🐨: And then what was the next line again? Something like ‘living in pain is beautiful’ maybe? It had this whole sadism-masochism kind of vibe — basically a song about becoming wild like animals together. 🐨: But we felt that releasing something overtly sexual wasn’t really the right timing for us right now, so we changed it into a song more about drawing out instinct and raw emotion instead. 🐨: Though honestly, I do think going fully sexual with it could’ve worked too. The sound itself already has this naturally sexy atmosphere to it. I personally really love ‘Like Animals.’ 🐨: I really like psychedelic music, and this was a style we’d never tried before.
