Namjoon about Like Animals💜 🐨: Like Animals.. 🐨: This was another song that originally came out of the pre-sessions, and it was actually a really sexual song at first. The lyrics were kind of like… you know? ‘If you wanna be animals, baby we can be animals…’ 🐨: And then what was the next line again? Something like ‘living in pain is beautiful’ maybe? It’s a wild thing to watch the Vice President of the United States post content suggesting that white men are being discriminated against. That mentality has existed in America since Reconstruction, after slavery ended. The idea has always been: they deserve everything, and everyone else should have nothing—because it’s all “owed” to them in a fairytale version of America. A country that became the richest on Earth off the free labor of enslaved people, including the ancestors of Southerners like me. Black unemployment is rising under Trump and Vance. America is less affordable for everybody—including white men, the majority of whom voted for Trump. Black people are under attack in this country. The propaganda is designed to keep those attacks going by convincing white men to blame Black people instead of the billionaires who are actually robbing us all—laughing all the way to the bank. America isn’t harder for white men because of Black people. It’s harder because, like generations before you, you bought into the “white is right” lie. You chose the white guy again—and now he’s cashing the checks while telling you to call a hotline.

Nam Yejun recently became able to control his dreams... Apparently before he could only control things after partially waking up first like moving just one finger to break out of sleep paralysis or something like that, but now even without waking up, he can consciously control his actions inside the dream itself 😨 💙: Rather than calling it a scary experience… there’s actually something I realized recently. You know sleep paralysis, right? I became able to completely control it 💙: I never used to have that kind of ability. But now I can control the situation inside the sleep paralysis 🩷: How? Like a lucid dream? 💙: Not like that, I can move however I want inside the sleep paralysis… it’s not a dream 💙: Even while still unable to wake up, I can do things however I want in that state now. Before, I had to stay still and force myself to move even just one finger for it to break. But now even if I don’t physically move, if there’s something I wanna move toward or something I see, I can kind of pass by it or move around like that, I can do that now 💙: There are sounds too and sometimes I see scary things, so every time I got sleep paralysis it used to be really miserable for me. I’d keep waking up in the middle of the night and naps were even worse 💙: I got sleep paralysis a lot during naps so constantly waking up was exhausting. But now when I get sleep paralysis, I’m relatively freer inside it, so it doesn’t stress me out anymore 🖤: How did you suddenly become free like that? 2028 1B/UT Audri Hedleston is looking for a summer team! Audri has a really unique story, which is probably why most people haven’t heard of her yet. She’s local, but I had never seen or heard of her before she walked into our facility wanting to try out Ballplex homeschool program. Right away, after talking to her for a few minutes, I could tell she was a very mature kid with a great attitude. Then she started swinging and I remember thinking… who are you and why have I never seen you before? lol The reality is Audri didn’t truly fall in love with the game until recently. She has only played travel ball once and was mainly just playing high school softball. But this past season, her passion for the game came back strong and now she’s very determined to pursue softball seriously. Audri has been part of our homeschool program the last few weeks and she has quickly become one of the hardest workers in the room. She’s super coachable, adapts very fast and has been making great adjustments already. She’ll continue working with us this summer and is hoping to find a team where she can showcase all the work she’s putting in.

Being able to move fluidly between Figma Make and the canvas is a pretty big deal Recent example 👇 1️⃣ Started exploring a minified recording toolbar directly on the canvas 2️⃣ Once I had some rough shapes I moved it into Make, imported my style guide, and started bringing it to life with expandable controls, hover states, and tooltips for keyboard shortcuts 3️⃣ A few prompts later, I had something interesting… but the layout wasn’t quite right. 4️⃣ So I jumped back into the canvas and made ~8 quick variations with a bigger video container. 5️⃣ Once I got somewhere interesting I brought that back into Make. All I had to do was copy and paste the frames for my default and hover state of the component and it pretty much nailed the core layout 6️⃣ Then I layered on the timer and made it interactive. But once I got it back into Make I thought "hmm... what if the toolbar layout was based on which quadrant of the screen the component was in 🤔" I was able to one shot this interaction and after playing with it a bunch I kinda love it? 7️⃣ Sent it to the team in Inflight so everyone could play with the prototype. 8️⃣ Brought the up to date UI back into the canvas to polish some of the tooltip details Before this, it always felt like I had to choose between two very different workflows. Scottie Scheffler has made golf look easy over the last few years, but he’s clearly frustrated with his game this week: “I felt like I was going to shoot about 90 today. “I don't know if you were out there on the course, but I was going to be hard to find if you were out watching my group. I felt like I got my first birdie putt of the day on the 13th hole. I maybe had one on 11, but I couldn't imagine I hit more than six or seven greens today. So around this golf course, with heavy rough and deep bunkers, you got to be hitting the ball in the right spots and for a long time today that was definitely not the case for me.” Scottie was visibly frustrated yesterday at the Memorial and had a long, heated discussion with his caddie Ted Scott after dunking a ball into the water. After rallying with 3 birdies in his last 6 holes today for a level par 72, he currently sits T20 and he was asked how proud he was to comfortably make the cut after looking in danger earlier in the round: “I think I grind like that every day. I think that's just part of the game. That's maybe some of the worst I've hit it in a couple years out there and I still managed to shoot even par around a golf course that requires to you strike the ball really well. When Donald Trump took office, gas was just under three dollars a gallon. His war made it spike 50% in under two months. Truckers paying over $5 for diesel fuel is causing a whole new problem at the grocery store. And that’s before Trump-flation sent the price ground beef skyward 20% during his 15 month term. For reference, the price only rose 7% per year in Biden’s term. Around here, it’s $8.50 a pound almost everywhere right now and the national average price is up 16% in just the last 12 months. Add in Trump’s tariffs which are just taxes levied on everything, sometimes illegally and we’ve got a very unhealthy economy compared to Biden’s economy. It's just a fact: Donald Trump made everything more expensive between his tariffs and his war. Nobody thinks the price of skirt steak was $18 a pound when Joe Biden was in office. In fact, I checked. This guy Prasad Vedpathak has manufactured a controversy out of thin air. He's portraying a thin white strip, reportedly laid to help barefoot monks avoid scorching surfaces in summer and slippery moss during monsoons, as if common areas are being converted into religious spaces. What's even more convenient to ignore is that official permission from the housing society had already been obtained before the strip was laid.
