Feet direction when walking reveals lower body mobility. Toeing out limits hip internal rotation; toeing in limits external rotation. This changes foot posture. Regain hip motion for foot mobility: squat for high arches, hinge for flat feet. #physicaltherapist #strengthcoach

Or the toe out / toe in gait is a reflection of established structure such as retroversion or anteversion of the femoral neck...

While walking where our foot needs to make contact,,I have foot in kind of V shaped that's opened ankle ...and only my outside of foot/sole makes more contact to the ground...

Very much appreciated. My right foot is turned outward when I walk, but not my left foot. So, hinging must be improved, right? Great post. Thanks.

I toe out. So bad that when I recognize it and turn toes in to 'nornal' it hurts/feel awkward in my knees. Have examples of exercises to add in weight room?
