The Niceaunties AI Video Grant At Fellowship, we believe in creating an environment for experimentation and the development of ideas. That is why, when niceaunties proposed a grant program for mentorship and the creation of AI videos, we immediately said yes. The program will help support six artists, to create a Solo Show for the Fellowship Daily program. The commitment is to produce 8 new videos based on a theme proposed by Niceaunties. This will be an open call for all the Daily Artists and the AI video community at large. Everyone is welcome to reply/submit a video for consideration. Each grantee will receive a total of 2ETH provided by Niceaunties and Fellowship, as well as mentorship from Niceaunties and alejandro cartagena. We encourage artists applying to consider this grant as a space of critical feedback and of experimentation. Artists are encouraged to be open to new ideas and to explore alternative ways of how to think of their practice. These funds and curatorial support are there to open up time for the creators to engage and create a space ideal for critical feedback. We believe that developing an artistic voice comes from experimentation and confrontation of ideas. All 8 pieces produced during the month will be auctioned on the daily . xyz site as a one-day Solo Show. All proceeds of the sales will go to the artists. We are looking for creators who want to expand their ideas and take their art to the next level. We thank Niceaunties for their passion and commitment to AI art and the art community. This is the open call post. Please follow, retweet and reply/submit a video for consideration. You have until Friday the 5th of July to submit the work. 📅 The theme for this month is CONNECTIONS. Good luck everyone!

THE IMPORTANCE OF THE DAILY PROGRAM The Fellowship Daily Program is about to celebrate one year, and what a year it has been. All through this crazy "bear market" artists have continued to show up because this AI video thing is happening now...not tomorrow but today in front of us all! To be here means that you were here when the seeds for the future AI filmmaking was being experimented with. With over 130 artists from around the world, experimenting and pushing their practice to new levels, we come to a year that will go down in history as the first period of AI video with so much production and experimentation. It is not that AI video didn't exist before, but 2023-2024 is the year with the most technical advancements that have ever happened for this medium, and the number of creators using the tools have come to a critical mass. This period is also very much based on creating visual narratives and storytelling. It is also about control and guiding the hallucinations into the artists' visual language. This period is about visual narratives that contain stories or experiments like we had not seen before. The Daily NFT collection will also contain a mix of possibly all AI tools available to date. From Runway to Kling to a few more we will announce shortly. The Daily collection is one of a kind, built in public, during the work market for NFTs, but with some of the most talented artists in the world, pushing, pushing, pushing. Some of the amazing artists who have "grown up" in the program include niceaunties, noper, LEGIO_X, Mind Wank, Andrea Ciulu, Frank Manzano, B O E Y, Ethereal Gwirl, Le Moon, doopiidoo among many many more! We are happy to add a few new names and new works to the collection. Stay tuned for their releases coming in September. Video by Running a Fever

ANNOUNCEMENT: A milestone sale of $1,500,000 USD is complete for a full triptych of works by john gerrard, presented with Fellowship together for the first time at Art Basel Zero 10 in June: ‘WESTERN FLAG (SPINDLETOP, TEXAS), 2017’ depicts a flag of carboniferous smoke over the Lucas Gusher, site of the first major oil strike in 1901. The real-time simulation is an edition of 4 + 2 APs. ‘FLARE (OCEANIA), 2022’ depicts a flag of gas over a heating ocean, the South Pacific near Tonga. The real-time simulation is an edition of 5 + 3 APs. ‘STANDARD, 2023’ depicts a flag of water vapour over the Mojave Desert in Nevada, looking to a hopeful future. The real-time simulation is an edition of 4 + 2 APs. Fellowship co-founder alejandro cartagena comments that the ability to highlight all three works together at Zero 10 was an important factor. Via Eli Scheinman: “The outcome for John Gerrard and Fellowship demonstrates what is possible when digital practices are presented as they were always intended to be: as a critical part of the contemporary art world. These worlds have been artificially separated for too long, and results like this suggest that collectors are ready to move beyond that distinction. A central goal of Zero 10 is to connect exhibitors and artists with new communities of collectors, curators, and institutions. Sometimes that results in a sale on the fair floor - just as often, it begins a relationship that deepens over the weeks and months that follow.”

The Architects of AI Have a Blueprint for Humanity. It’s Not What You’ve Been Sold. A chilling revelation from Whitney Webb’s analysis of the Kissinger-Schmidt doctrine on artificial intelligence. The "convenience" narrative is a facade for the elite's true ambition: a fundamental war on human perception. According to Webb's dissection of "The Age of AI," the real promise, as seen by figures like Eric Schmidt—architect of the U.S. national security state's AI roadmap—is to forever alter how humanity processes reality. Their envisioned future? - An information ecosystem dominated by AI-generated content. - That same AI acting as the omnipresent censor. - A world where humanity is gradually conditioned to depend on AI to dictate what is real and what is not. This is the ultimate perception management. They create a problem of AI-powered misinformation and propose a solution of total AI control, creating a self-justifying loop of dependency. The end goal? The deliberate creation of a two-tier society: 🔺 A Cognitively Enhanced Elite: Those who program, regulate, and are enhanced by AI. They set the objective functions and control the reality engine. 🔻 A Cognitively Diminished Underclass: The vast majority, acted upon by the AI system. They become emotionally manipulated, lose the capacity for critical thought, and are forced to outsource their thinking and even their preferences to the algorithm. This is a direct war for sovereignty over human perception. As Webb powerfully argues, the solution is not to reform this system, but to build a post-social media, post-smartphone world if we are to avoid this dystopian, post-human future. The choice is becoming stark: reclaim our cognitive autonomy or surrender to becoming managed subjects in a world we no longer understand.

Lucas Crespo (Lucas Crespo 📧 ) is the mastermind behind Every 📧 's visual vibe—and he does it one prompt at a time. As our creative lead, Lucas uses tools like native image gen in ChatGPT and Midjourney to generate the cover images you see every day. He also designs the interfaces for our products—Cora, Spiral, and Sparkle—and makes everything on our site feel as thoughtful and delightful as possible. We get into: - Why Every’s aesthetic feels familiar and new at the same time. Every’s aesthetic plays with the tension between the old (like Greek statues and Baroque symbols) and the new (like saturated colors and modern motifs) to make the glamor of the past feel fresh. - Art direction matters more than ever today. As AI makes it easier to generate images, Lucas says the real work of design is shifting toward art direction, specifically, curating an aesthetic that feels “organic;” on his X timeline that’s showing up as clouds, earthy landscapes, and textures. - Reimagining what a website can be with AI. Lucas compares most websites to identical buildings—predictable, efficient, and forgettable—and wonders how AI can help us break that mold by designing experiences that prioritize serendipity over speed, and curiosity over control. - Behind the scenes of Cora’s visual aesthetic. How Lucas designed the landing page and launch video for Cora by rooting it in the product’s philosophy: turning the inbox from a source of chaos into something that feels calm, thoughtful—like stepping into spring. - The future of internet interfaces. Lucas believes the future of digital interfaces will be curated with the same care as a film set or ad campaign, where every detail is chosen with intention. Lucas also walks us through how he created the headline image for Every’s consulting page—a human and robotic hand fist-bumping—using Midjourney to iterate from rough prompt to polished visual. This is a must watch for anyone interested in the future of design and making the internet a little more beautiful every day. Watch below! Timestamps: 1. Introduction: 00:01:41 2. How AI changed the course of Lucas’s career: 00:04:02 3. Why Every’s aesthetic feels both familiar and fresh: 00:11:38 4. Why Lucas thinks minimalism is overrated: 00:16:19 5. Art direction matters more than ever in the age of AI: 00:22:01 6. How to reimagine what a website can be with AI: 00:25:06 7. Lucas’s process in Midjourney to generate cover images: 00:33:41 8.
