EOY Recap: The Daily Program, Season II In 2025, the program continued as a space for artistic experimentation around AI video. This year, we invited 70 artists to present work that extends the survey we began in 2023. AI video remains an unstable genre because the tools change quickly...

THE IMPORTANCE OF THE DAILY PROGRAM The Fellowship Daily Program is about to celebrate one year, and what a year it has been. All through this crazy "bear market" artists have continued to show up because this AI video thing is happening now...not tomorrow but today in front of us all! To be here means that you were here when the seeds for the future AI filmmaking was being experimented with. With over 130 artists from around the world, experimenting and pushing their practice to new levels, we come to a year that will go down in history as the first period of AI video with so much production and experimentation. It is not that AI video didn't exist before, but 2023-2024 is the year with the most technical advancements that have ever happened for this medium, and the number of creators using the tools have come to a critical mass. This period is also very much based on creating visual narratives and storytelling. It is also about control and guiding the hallucinations into the artists' visual language. This period is about visual narratives that contain stories or experiments like we had not seen before. The Daily NFT collection will also contain a mix of possibly all AI tools available to date. From Runway to Kling to a few more we will announce shortly. The Daily collection is one of a kind, built in public, during the work market for NFTs, but with some of the most talented artists in the world, pushing, pushing, pushing. Some of the amazing artists who have "grown up" in the program include niceaunties, noper, LEGIO_X, Mind Wank, Andrea Ciulu, Frank Manzano, B O E Y, Ethereal Gwirl, Le Moon, doopiidoo among many many more! We are happy to add a few new names and new works to the collection. Stay tuned for their releases coming in September. Video by Running a Fever

The Niceaunties AI Video Grant At Fellowship, we believe in creating an environment for experimentation and the development of ideas. That is why, when niceaunties proposed a grant program for mentorship and the creation of AI videos, we immediately said yes. The program will help support six artists, to create a Solo Show for the Fellowship Daily program. The commitment is to produce 8 new videos based on a theme proposed by Niceaunties. This will be an open call for all the Daily Artists and the AI video community at large. Everyone is welcome to reply/submit a video for consideration. Each grantee will receive a total of 2ETH provided by Niceaunties and Fellowship, as well as mentorship from Niceaunties and alejandro cartagena. We encourage artists applying to consider this grant as a space of critical feedback and of experimentation. Artists are encouraged to be open to new ideas and to explore alternative ways of how to think of their practice. These funds and curatorial support are there to open up time for the creators to engage and create a space ideal for critical feedback. We believe that developing an artistic voice comes from experimentation and confrontation of ideas. All 8 pieces produced during the month will be auctioned on the daily . xyz site as a one-day Solo Show. All proceeds of the sales will go to the artists. We are looking for creators who want to expand their ideas and take their art to the next level. We thank Niceaunties for their passion and commitment to AI art and the art community. This is the open call post. Please follow, retweet and reply/submit a video for consideration. You have until Friday the 5th of July to submit the work. 📅 The theme for this month is CONNECTIONS. Good luck everyone!

The Niceaunties AI Video Grant is Now Open At Fellowship, we believe in creating an environment for experimentation and the development of ideas. That is why, when niceaunties proposed a 6-month grant program for mentorship and the creation of AI videos, we immediately said yes. The program will help support six artists, one every month, to create a Solo Show for the Fellowship Daily program. The commitment is to produce eight new videos based on a theme proposed by Niceaunties. This will be an open call for all the Daily Artists and the AI video community. This is the open call post; please follow, retweet and reply/submit a video for consideration. You have 3 days after this post to submit the work. 📅 Each grantee will receive a total of 2ETH provided by Niceaunties and Fellowship, as well as mentorship from Niceaunties and alejandro cartagena. The theme for this first month is 🫴🫴 “How to make _” A guide How you interpret and use this idea is completely open and can be as big and minimal part of the work you submit and produce during the grant. These funds and curatorial support are there to open up time for the creators to engage and create a space ideal for critical feedback. This is probably the most complex workflow I’ve ever built, only with open-source tools. It took my 4 days. It takes four inputs: author, title, and style; and generates a full visual animated story in one click in ComfyUI . I worked on it for four days. There are still some bugs, but here’s the first preview. Here’s a quick breakdown: - The four inputs are sent to LLMs with precise instructions to generate: first, prompts for images and image modifications; second, prompts for animations; third, prompts for generating music. - All voices are generated from the text and timed precisely, as they determine the length of each animation segment. - The first image and video are generated to serve as the title, but also as the guide for all other images created for the video. - Titles and subtitles are also added automatically in Comfy. - I also developed a lot of custom nodes for minor frame calculations, mostly to match audio and video. - The full system is a large loop that, for each line of text, generates an image and then a video from that image. The loop was the hardest part to build in this workflow, so it can process either a 20-second video or a 2-minute video with the same input. - There are multiple combinations of LLMs that try to understand the text in the best way to provide the best prompts for images and video. - The final video is assembled entirely within ComfyUI. - The music is generated based on the LLM output and matches the exact timing of the full animation. - Done! For reference, this workflow uses a lot of models and only works on an RTX 6000 Pro with plenty of RAM. My goal is not to replace humans, as I’ll try to explain later, this workflow is highly controlled and can be adapted or reworked at any point by real artists! My aim was to create a tool that can animate text in one go, allowing the AI some freedom while keeping a strict flow. I don’t know yet how I’ll share this workflow with people, I still need to polish it properly, but maybe through Patreon. Anyway, I hope you enjoy my research, and let’s always keep pushing further! :)

Why securing AI is harder than anyone expected and the approaching AI security crisis with Sander Schulhoff Sander is a leading researcher in the field of adversarial robustness, which is the art and science of getting AI systems to do things they shouldn't do, through jail-breaking and prompt injection. What Sander shares in this conversation is essentially that all of the AI systems we use day to day are open to being tricked into doing things they shouldn’t, that there isn’t really a solution to this problem, and that the companies that try to sell solutions for this are mostly BS. This conversation has nothing to do with AGI, this is a problem today. And that that the only reason we haven’t seen massive hacks and serious damage from AI tools is so far because they haven’t been given that much power yet, and they aren’t that widely adopted yet. But with the rise of agents (who can take actions on your behalf), and robots, and even AI powered browsers, the risk is going to increase very quickly. This is a really important topic and that opened my mind, and scared me, and it's something that we all need to have a basic understanding of as AI becomes more prevalent in our lives. Inside: 🔸 A primer on jailbreaking and prompt injection attacks 🔸 Why AI guardrails don’t work 🔸 Why we haven’t seen major AI security incidents yet (but soon will) 🔸 Why AI browser agents are extremely vulnerable 🔸 The practical steps organizations should take instead of buying ineffective security tools 🔸 Why solving this requires merging classical cybersecurity expertise with AI knowledge Listen now 👇 • YouTube: • Spotify: • Apple: Thank you to our wonderful sponsors for supporting the podcast: 🏆 Datadog, Inc. — Now home to Eppo, the leading experimentation and feature flagging platform: 🏆 Metronome — Monetization infrastructure for modern software companies: 🏆 GoFundMe Giving Funds — Make year-end giving easy:
