FEROCIOUS Playtest on Steam Pretty cool so far, still far from complete obviously though. Reminds me of a few games. -The Forest (island setting, inventory and resource mechanics) -King Kong (wildlife and minimal UI) -Far Cry (outposts, stealth and again resource collection)

Also reminds me of Tarkov a bit with the effects and all going on during combat, nowhere near as in depth as that game but that's fine. I think the looting animations for animals and bodies could get old but that could change down the line.

Also features this great setting, but despite that and the game obviously going for a high immersion level there's still those very unimmersive Far Cry climbing ropes everywhere. I kinda hope they come up with a better solution than that.

They're usually placed on cliff edges so some kind of scratch marks or different material would just look more natural and still stand out enough to know what and what isn't climbable.

From this video it oldly enough reminds me of Jurassic Park trespasser

Reminds me of Heathen - The sons of the law (which reminded me of Trespasser and Far Cry Instincts)
