Fofana ran aggressively to try to defend and won the ball, but after recovering it, he made a wrong pass. He initially wanted to complain and put the blame on Lacroix, but Lacroix was already tracking and defending for the team. As soon as Fofana saw that, he also ran back to help defend. This is something Chelsea defenders lacked last season. Instead of quickly blaming each other after mistakes, the first reaction should always be to get back and defend as a team.

Today didn't work, but I think we should be proud of our journey and now it's time to go back to the drawing board and start working for the rest of the year."

Just a week before the start of the 2026 Winter Olympics, U.S. skier Lindsey Vonn crashed and injured her left knee. Vonn lost control after landing a jump in a World Cup race held in difficult conditions with low visibility and ended up tangled in the safety nets on the upper portion of the course. The race was later cancelled after three of the first six racers crashed. Vonn, who was in the midst of a comeback and expected to be one of the stars of the Olympics for Team USA, took to social media after the crash to assure fans that her "Olympic dream is not over." Her first Olympic event, the women’s downhill, is scheduled to be on Feb. 8
