Fibromyalgia causes widespread pain all over the body, often making people feel stiff in the mornings, tired, and mentally foggy. It can also lead to stomach problems, Dr. Sean Mackey explains. Doctors used to diagnose it by checking for "tender points" on the body, but now they look at other signs like pain in multiple areas and how severe the symptoms are. While it used to affect mostly women, more men are being diagnosed with it now. Another big issue with fibromyalgia is sleep. People with it often can’t get deep, restful sleep, which makes everything harder to manage. We don’t fully understand why fibromyalgia happens, but it’s clear that it’s a serious challenge, especially for women.

Fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, and IBS don’t exist according to @garybrecka 😑 They are all simply caused by a lack of vitamin D apparently. So helpful that Gary figured all this out on his own while the brightest scientists with the most advanced lab techniques in the world couldn’t 🤷🏼‍♂️ Honestly, this level of arrogance is completely astonishing. Could low vitamin D contribute to fatigue? Sure. Is it the cause of all these issues? No. FM, CFS, & IBS are very real issues that have a complex etiology that may include but not limited to autoimmune issues, lifestyle, stress, and psychological origins. When I say ‘psychological’ I’m NOT saying these symptoms aren’t real. Our psychology can drastically effect our perception of pain & fatigue making people who suffer from these conditions experience way more fatigue & pain than people who have normal pain sensitivity Saying these conditions don’t exist is arrogant, insensitive, offensive, & shows an utter lack of examination of the actual research literature I’m sick of this dude. If you're sleep deprived, one of the best things you can do (counterintuitively) is high-intensity exercise. A few hours of sleep deprivation reduces insulin sensitivity and impairs cognitive function. But just 10 minutes of HIIT can enhance brain blood flow, cognitive performance, and blood glucose regulation. It can take you back to baseline, or even above it, for several hours or until you can get adequate sleep. You may not feel like going hard when you're tired, but the short-term benefits are real. Just don't make poor sleep a habit.

Loose Stools and Vomiting can Uncommonly be the Symptoms of a HEART ATTACK The classical symptom of heart attack (myocardial infarction) is chest pain. However, chest pain may be absent in 8-33% cases of heart attacks. Heart attack, in a minority, may present with symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting and loose stools, mimicking diseases such as gastroenteritis or acid peptic disease. These symptoms are more common in inferior myocardial infarction, caused by blockage of right coronary artery. In patients presenting without chest pain, a diagnosis of heart attack is often missed or delayed. However, there should be strong suspicion of heart attack in people with risk factors such as diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, smoker, male gender, etc. When in doubt, an ECG and blood tests can confirm a diagnosis of heart attack. Timely diagnosis and treatment of heart attack can save lives. In case of actor Vikas Sethi, as per his doctors, he most likely suffered cardiac arrest during sleep (which was most likely caused by a heart attack). Heartfelt condolences to his family, friends and fans.
