A video from a Burger King outlet has gone viral online, capturing a tense exchange between a customer and an employee over how they addressed each other. According to the footage, the incident began when a woman customer referred to the employee as “young man” while collecting her order. The employee, who identifies as female, corrected the customer several times, leading to a disagreement. The customer, visibly frustrated, insisted she would “call you what I see,” prompting the employee to respond by addressing her as “sir.” The situation escalated when the woman demanded to speak with the manager, later identified as Kimberly Byer, one of the owners of the franchise. During the discussion, the customer accused the staff member of being rude and claimed she had no obligation to use the pronouns or titles the employee preferred. The owner acknowledged that the employee’s retaliation was “inappropriate” but also reminded the customer that Burger King expects guests not to insult team members.

This Smoothie King employee stayed so calm during one of the most awkward customer meltdowns. A customer comes up complaining that her smoothie wasn’t blended properly. Instead of just accepting a refund, she starts recording the whole interaction, insisting the employee confirm out loud that she “couldn’t” make the smoothie. The employee (who’s clearly trying to help) keeps her cool, repeatedly asks for the card so she can process the refund, and gently points out that the customer is holding up the line for everyone behind her. The customer keeps pushing, the employee stays polite and professional the entire time, and it finally ends with the employee handing over the cash and saying “have a good day.” Have you ever been on either side of a customer service moment like this?

A rude customer (Kathy Brown, who called herself a First Amendment lawyer) repeatedly called a female Burger King employee “young man.” The employee (Lily) corrected her, then retaliated by calling the customer “sir.” The customer demanded a manager and started recording. The owner (Kimberly Byer) told the customer her behaviour was unacceptable, sided with her employee, and asked her to leave. The woman kept citing her “First Amendment rights” as she was escorted out.

Male Burger King employee became enraged after a customer misgendered him and thanked him by saying, “Thank you, young man.” When the customer brought the incident to the owner’s attention, she insisted the employee was a woman, reprimanded the patron for insulting the staffer, and asked her to leave. Why do these white women always side with delusional men and never stand up for other women?
