St John’s Dylan Darling was one of the best glue guys in all of college basketball this season. The 6’1 Junior PG had a strong season where he averaged 7/3/3 along with 1.5 SPG in only 21 MPG. Darling was one of the best guard defenders in college basketball this season with his mix of instincts and motor. Darlings motor and ability to stay in front of anyone in the POA helped him be one of the most impactful defenders in the country, he’s also an impactful off ball defender with his ability to switch and read passing lanes for steals. On the offensive end Darling has high level passing vision and can find his teammates in the PNR or as a connective passer. He’s also a skilled scorer in the PNR who ranked in the 75th percentile with his mix of finishing and mid range scoring. Darling shot an impressive 60% at the rim this season while also having great pace as a PG who rarely turned the ball over. Darling also uses his ability to get steals to create a two way player on the other end. There’s not many players in college basketball with Darling’s mix of motor, defense, passing, finishing, and pace.

Chaze Harris - An interesting name starting to circulate amongst possible eligibility cases, is the reigning Sun Belt POY Chaze Harris, who spent 3 non Division 1 years prior to joining the Jaguars this past season. Long post alert. A few thank you's as well. ❤️ I feel bad I've really just got into the TTV game for the season 3 weeks in. As you know, Gridiron always takes priority for me at launch as I am nose to grindstone on covering as much about the game as I can. I truly appreciate you all rocking with me when it's a bit more sporadic. There are lots of elite players grinding TTV right now and it inspires me genuinely when I see you all growing and locking in on your craft. It's also amazing that so many of you choose to hang out given the choices! Over on the Gridiron side I also owe thank you's. All this coverage work and feedback is paying off. Big time. It's collaborative. #Madden26 If you want to shut down every formation, WE WILL TELL YOU (not just me) what front, stunt, coverage call, and who your user/switch stick rules are. The Discord has kicked it up so much this year and there's basically coverage residents in there giving advice at most hours of the day. That way you can get perspectives other than yours/my own on topics. They are great and answering things I am not (MUT sets, upcoming content, etc...) Here's a montage of just some clips of just today's stream. Some of these guys had seriously competent route combinations. Others were your average online player. Either way, we faced everything. Bunch. Trips TE. 4 Strong. Empty. 2x2 Tight. Doubles Flex Meta. And now with the Miami defense out for stunts/pressure/QB containment, two of my most thorough defensive game plans are fusing together and becoming really good together. This group of dudes (and a couple gals too) is locked in as I've seen it in a bit. The questions and feedback in there has driven the Vault content more than ever. People have been labbing their tails off to memorize coverage rules and help one another. It's inspiring to see the growth and people graduating from days of just starting out and winning less than 50% of games online become stronger because we are applying football teaching together with a focus on learning what is reproducible inside a game's code. That's not easy, honestly. I'll have a film breakdown tomorrow out on talking about the most recent coverage updates I've installed from today's Twitch stream. I’m on a plane back from a week in Los Angeles and some lessons there shocked me. I met w/ a billionaire, Bryan Johnson, a top 10 podcaster, an A24 movie exec, and a Presidential candidate. 12 learnings from too many meetings to count in Hollywood: 1. LA is not dead. Far from it. I ran into 5 people who I needed to meet with at one hotel in 4 days. The epicenter of media may be disaggregating to Austin, NY and globally... but the density is still here. 2. Bryan Johnson is now one of my favorite humans. I hung with him at his house, tried his 20,000 crunches in 30 minutes machine, and talked about the purpose of life. The internet is a sad state that they don’t give him more credit. 3. Digital media today is like distributed news before cable news. We are at a tipping point for expansion in this digital industry. It feels somehow played out to those of us in it, but it’s just starting. 4. Hollywood is watching creators and UGC closely. I met w/ one exec who said in the not so distant future Netflix will have UGC on it. 5. may be this generation's Anthony Bourdain for thinking. I sat down with him and I think the work he’s doing on youtube is going to be something to watch... closely. 6. Buying boring businesses is not at all interesting to those in LA. BUT - asset accumulation and portfolios are. They buy assets (film rights, etc) all day. They are starting to think about the business of celebrities, creators and their work similar to how I think of investment management. 7. LA is a tale of two cities. I spoke at the convention center that was surrounded by derelict minority businesses and houses, then hung out at private members-only clubs that are all over West Hollywood where Lebron, Chris Voss and all the big timers play. The two places are 10 minutes away but an absolute world apart. 8. The mental health and drug crisis is out of control. Stroll along a downtown street and zombie after zombie trails. I saw people shitting and eating next to one another and across from a Starbucks. I asked our corporate host if this was “normal?” They replied, you stop noticing it after awhile. 9. Offices are completely empty. A friend got an office space for 50% off and more than 40% of the highrise is unoccupied. How odd that home prices are high, housing is really tough to come by, but office space is a blue ocean. 10. Met up with Tulsi Gabbard 🌺, a friend who was traveling to the border to see the situation live. I am grateful to have people fight for the truth even when it is unpopular. We need more leaders like her. 11. Every time I meet with a billionaire I realize all over again that to achieve that level of wealth, you cannot be normal. Truly. He’s weirdly comfortable with discomfort and complete lack of people pleasing. 12. The more I learn about the Kardashians in some ways, the more I respect them. I got the onion peeled back on their business dealings and they are some of the smartest dealmakers I’ve ever seen. Also I hate saying it because I believe gender games are net negative, but I wonder if they’d get so much hate if they weren’t females? I liked the idea of keeping a travel diary like my friend GREG ISENBERG does… Otherwise these moments pass like sand through my fingers. What do you think? This one is a must read. I hope the takeaway is, at minimum, eye opening. To any player/parent trying to navigate the recruiting process right now - here is some perspective for you. I came across this video recently on Twitter - It’s a video of Juan Soto when he was 16 years old in the Dominican Republic. (Credit to parker hageman for digging it up and posting it.) I decided to do an informal case study. I sent the Soto video to 13 high-level baseball evaluators - 4 current MLB scouts, 7 current and former D1 recruiting coordinators & head coaches, 1 former pro manager/ college head coach, and 1 current JC head coach. All guys that I know and trust to give honest feedback. I told them that I had just started working with this 16 year old international player and that I was hoping to get their feedback from an evaluation perspective. 3 of the 13 knew it was Soto from the video. Of the other 10, here were the results: - 1 current D1 coach said “He looks like he’s gonna get paid. I have money for a ’26 if he doesn’t want to sign with an MLB team. Somebody will pay that swing.” - 2 of them liked his physical upside and bat speed and said once he puts on some weight they think he’s got a chance. - 7 of them said something along the lines of… “He needs to go to a JC”, “he has too much effort in his swing”, “looks like he has some timing issues”, etc... The video was taken shortly before he signed for $1.5m with the Washington Nationals. He is a future Hall of Famer. Let that sink in for a moment. The question is, why were the majority of these college coaches and scouts flawed in their initial evaluation of the short video I sent them of a guy who signed for $1.5m with the Washington Nationals a few months later? - Are they bad evaluators? - Was the video not a good enough representation of Soto’s ability? - Was there not enough context as to his track record and other tools to make an informed evaluation? - Is it just difficult to evaluate a player off of 1 minute of video? - Did the fact that he is an international guy change things? - If he had hit 3 homers in this video reel would they have a different opinion? In all honesty, I wasn’t surprised by any of these responses. I might’ve said the same thing if I didn’t know it was Soto. It is likely a combination of multiple of the reasons I listed above… but the point I am trying to make here is this: I hear all the time from high school and JC players/parents about how frustrated, disappointed, or defeated they feel because they aren’t getting interest from college coaches, and because coaches don’t respond to their emails & DM’s. So here is the perspective that you need to understand: even Juan Soto’s video from a few months before signing a $1.5m contract didn’t garner the type of interest that you would expect. Are you better than Juan Soto was at 16 years old? Are you a future hall of fame caliber player? There are so many factors that go into the recruiting process. It is a multi-sided marketplace where each stakeholder (college coach and player) has to have a mutual need and interest in one another. Baseball is the hardest sport to evaluate and it’s not even close, IMO. Coaches and scouts are wrong all the time. Players can get exponentially better in a short period of time. It’s not always a pretty process, but all it takes is one coach to see something in you and want to invest in you. Dial in the things you can control. Make sure coaches to have the full picture of who you are as a player and why you can help them win. And don’t be upset when you get limited responses/feedback. It happened to Soto too - and he is much better than you.

I wanted to build that curiosity to a peak and then release everything all at once. That’s why we decided not to release a teaser and instead go straight into a full music video. While other kids their age are going through school and having a wide range of life experiences, these members are living very different lives. So I told them, “We’re going to school together. We’re learning together.” And in that sense, I want to be a good teacher to them. They’re also surrounded by an incredibly professional team, people they’d never meet even in a traditional school setting. I’ve never really liked the word idol. These days, that word is used more like a job title, something manufactured by the industry, and it’s far from its original meaning. To me, the term idol feels misplaced. It doesn’t really reflect who these artists are or what they represent. And I’m not the kind of person who clings to labels or terminology. In fact, what I really want is to break the stereotypes and preconceptions that come with the idol industry. When I drew it out, the shape just continued and turned into a bunny. To me, the NewJeans members are like little bunnies… playful, innocent. Their visuals also resemble rabbits in a way. And rabbits symbolize abundance. That made me think: “Ah, maybe our fans will multiply like rabbits. That would be great.” So that bunny face became both a symbol for the members and the fans. The image came to me all at once, and I imagined a venue completely filled with bunny light sticks. That vision led to the creation of the light stick itself. Since I always prioritize fun in everything I do, the next idea that came to mind was making the light stick customizable. I thought, “Wouldn’t it be great if fans could personalize their bunny?” That way, each rabbit would represent a different person’s character. So we included accessories, allowing everyone to customize their own bunny. It’s symbolic of all these different bunnies coming together and enjoying a good time as one. Our light stick has a big head, so when it’s used in a concert hall, it lights up in heart shapes that are very visible. That was the image I really wanted. And that bunny face… it’s also a heart. For me in the beginning this looked like: - Wake up at 6:30. - Shower - Study/work for 1h 45m before leaving for work. - 09:00 -> 17:00 work - 17:30 Exercise / Train - Eat - 19:00 resume study/work - 22:30 Start to wind down and get ready to sleep. It changed several times over the months and especially now I am full time but this is irrelevant, the only thing that matters is sticking with what you choose. Whatever your own routine may look like, it is important to understand it will inevitably require sacrifice. --- The next thing once you have established a draft framework of your routine is ensuring you will actually stick to that routine. Something I implemented which I found particularly beneficial was the concept of a Pre-Mortem plan. This involves creating several scenarios of a future in which you have failed and working backwards from each of these to find where it went wrong. Here is a video which explains it fully: When I did this I came up with 3 scenarios as well as prevention and cure for each. In the 6 months that followed each scenario presented at some point but I was able to catch them early due to having done this. The last thing is to not over complicate this, don't hyper focus on systems and loose momentum optimizing each detail. Just ensure you do the fucking work. I was a little guilty of the above at times, trying to craft the perfect routine. In reality the person who just gets up, drinks too much coffee and works his ass off out performs the workflow perfectionist who visualizes and repeats affirmations, any day of the week. --- Next you need somewhere to store your notes, journal your trades and build your knowledge. Especially as it allows you to change timeframes without skipping ahead to candle close time of the timeframe you change too ( like Trading view does ) *my only note would be that their LTF/Micro TF data feed with be different to brokerage charts you will use on Trading view, to start with though you should not be going low enough that this is an issue. When you backtest in this context, treat it like real trading. That means journal and logging like you would if real cash was on the line. Take time, do not rush and focus on quality. Stick to BTC, ETH, Major FX pairs or indices as these assets are less reliant on confluence, backtesting a shitcoin is near useless as whether levels work or not will be highly dependent on Majors PA. Go on HTF, scroll back a couple years and try not too look at chart while doing so and then begin. Start with HTF analysis and work down to 2H or wherever you feel comfortable, chart it fully and then identify setups. Make rough notes / plans and then press play, execute the setups as they hit, log and journal trade management as well as observations and key notes. It is very important to not cheat when you do this, do not skip back and adjust your stoploss because it hit by 0.1%, do not skip back and adjust plan because you missed a block and your TP got frontrun. Instead these are the things you journal, embrace these mistakes because they are the cheapest mistakes you are going to make. Grind this, do it for hours, put some music on and enjoy. Even if you do not intend to day trade, learning how to read the lower TF's that force you to think faster, harder and prepare you for lower win rates / loss streaks can greatly improve your ability on higher TF's. While you are doing this as you start to have concepts click you now want to build up your real trading experience, take a sum of money that you care about but will be okay loosing and dedicate this to live trading. Start taking real trades and expect net losses in the beginning. This is where you will make you 2nd cheapest mistakes. This is also where you can begin to learn about your psychology. You may encounter some elements already in backtesting but the real market is where true colours really start to show. Mental issues are inevitable and part of the game, get used to them and start working to identify and fix them. Reading and applying books like Trading in the Zone and Mental Game of Trading are important and will help a lot but there is no easy fix, for some stuff you I believe you just have to get used to it and it goes away with experience. Losses suck at the beginning but after you loose 100 times you starting getting pretty numb to it, same goes for the winners. To accelerate the learning process, build connections and get advice there is also always the option of private groups, while I never personally chose this route and committed to learning everything through my own endeavours there is no denying that having nearly all the information you need structured and compiled in one place is valuable and can save time. Beyond this having access to real time thoughts and opinions of profitable traders can accelerate performance, however it carries the risk of being a double edged sword if not used properly, if relying on it like a crutch and using it as a substitute for real work you will not succeed. With that said if you take it for what it is, a learning opportunity then I believe it can be very beneficial. I am not a member of, nor affiliated with any paid group. There are now many options available within the community, all run by different people with different styles, tailored to different needs. If I was to make a recommendation though, as a non-member, it would be Albert & Co's 618'ers simply due to the diversity in styles of the traders running it and results I have seen from members I know personally. It is important that as you start to trade with real capital you reduce noise in your social feeds or eliminate it all together. You do not need 5 different opinions, you also do not need 2 people telling you the same thing in their own way so you feel re-assured. What you do need is to develop your independent thinking as a trader and be comfortable making different decisions to others, even traders ahead of yourself if it fits with your system or understanding of market. Taur here is perhaps an exception as this is who you are learning from but down the line a real test of your own ability and independence will be being able to stick with your own plan even when it differs from his. Don't get me wrong, counter trading him is retarded but you must learn to adapt his gift to your own style. This will make sense at some point. The next stage is taking your understanding of specific concepts to higher level as you simultaneously snowball experience. Look back through your journal and review where you lost money and made money, do not over extrapolate from a small sample but start to take notes and observe if trends in performance emerge. This is the beginning of the transition to self reliance, you now understand the strategy but must learn for yourself when and where it works. Here you can also learn more nuanced secondary concepts such as VSA, orderflow etc and add these to your game where appropriate. Do NOT get lost in the sauce though and remember mastery of basics is key. IMO a big focus should be understanding correlation thoroughly but especially on HTF's this is the most important thing and what triggers the majority of large swings where most of your cash will be made and losses recovered. Some people will disagree with me here but IMO you should also not be *focusing* on Odd TF's. These are secondary at best and most people overweight their significance leading to avoidable losses while wondering why price did not care about their 327minute Breaker Block which they think is the key to the market. Study Taurs feed and take note of how he mostly uses: 3M, 1M, 3W, 2W, 1W, 5D, 4D, 3D, 2D, 1D, 12H, 8H, 6H, 4H, 2H, 1H, 30m, 15m + micro time frames.
