Final Fantasy III Ad (1994) 📺

I wasn't even into turn based RPGs until gen 1 Pokemon dropped but those magazine ads live rent free in my head.

When I first saw this, I thought it was a Robot Chicken skit.

You'd think Mog was the main protagonist of FFVIII/"FFIII".

Holy Shit!! I remember seeing this comercial and hating it cause the game was boring to my 9 year old brain and nothing like the commercial. I got hooked into RPGs later in life but I totally understand why it was misleading for the younger audience.

AKA Final Fantasy VI because they didn't release in order in the west

I saw this ad one time as a kid and thought I hallucinated it. Nobody at school believed me.

The biggest mistake is no gameplay because I thought it will be a platformer.

Still One of my favorites!! Currently playing the Pixel Remastered version.

I remember this commercial vividly! Looked pretty cool but it didnt translate into sales in the west unfortunately

i would rent this game every weekend hoping that no one rented it during the week and erased my progress. This was an epic game with a huge story often cited as one of the great games of all time...and this is the ad they went with?
