Northern Minnesota feels like it is getting a bit wilder. Footage from just a few weeks ago. This does not appear to be the mother of the kittens. Folks tell us all the time how much they enjoy our trail camera videos, and our typical trail camera video is viewed >100,000-200,000 times and liked by 4,000-5,000 people. We simply need folks who enjoy our content to make a small donation ($10, $25, $50) to our project at the link below to help us cover the costs associated with keeping 350-400 trail cameras going year round. Quite literally, if a small percent (2-3%) of folks who enjoy our videos make a small donation to our project at the link in the comments, we reach our fundraising goal and it allows us to keep sharing wild moments like this with everyone for free! VETERAN ACTOR RADHA FILES POLICE COMPLAINT AGAINST HER SISTER ACTOR AMBIKA OVER Rs 49.8 CRORE CHEQUE FRAUD Veteran actor Radha alias Udayachandrika lodged a complaint with the Chennai Police Commissioner on Monday, claiming that five signed blank cheques belonging to her were taken from her room and later filled in and presented for encashment in the name of her sister, actor Ambika Nair. The five cheques had a combined face value of Rs 49.8 crore, which has been withheld by the bank after the bank manager verified with actor Radha, who in turn issued a stop payment. Her petition has been forwarded to the forgery wing of the central crime branch for further investigation. In her complaint, Radha said she ran RR Gardens on Arcot Road, Porur, and maintained a current account with IDBI Bank, Porur branch. She said a cheque book - ARS Garden - issued in 2022 contained the five cheque numbers that were later presented for encashment. Radha said she frequently travelled between Chennai, Kerala, Mumbai and Bengaluru and used to keep five or six signed blank cheques in her room to meet business expenses in her absence. She said Ambika also stayed in the ground-floor portion of a house in Valasaravakkam and had access to her portion of the premises. According to the complaint, Radha received an email from her bank on Sept 17 informing her that the old cheques had been presented for encashment. The cheque values were for Rs 11 lakh, Rs 13.17 crore, Rs 27.73 crore, Rs 7 crore and Rs 1.79 crore. Radha said she immediately asked the bank to stop payment, stating that the cheques had been taken and used without her knowledge. She said she had not issued them to Ambika towards any debt or financial liability and claimed that there had been no monetary transaction between them. She further stated that bank verification showed that the cheques had been filled in handwriting she identified as that of her brother, Mallikarjuna Kunjan Nair alias Arjun Nair. She alleged that Ambika and Mallikarjuna entered her room in her absence, took the signed empty cheques in the name of ARS Garden, filled in the details, and presented them for payment. The issue came to light after Radha changed ARS Garden to RR Garden, and fresh cheques in the RR Garden name were reissued by the concerned bank. Radha requested the police to examine the cheques, handwriting, bank records and other electronic evidence to establish how they were obtained and presented. She also alleged that the siblings were preventing her from accessing valuables and documents kept in her room. 🙏🏻💔URGENT APPEAL🙏🏻💔 We hope you have all had an amazing Christmas celebrating with friends and family🎄 While the team has enjoyed a couple of days off, we are now desperately trying to catch up behind the scenes 😅 Which leads us onto our next appeal 💔 Sadly, over the Christmas break, more dogs have been dumped in the pound either by the dog catcher or by owners 😞💔 The pound again is nearly full, and the rescuer is struggling to just cover their food simply to keep them alive. We recently helped our rescuers to spay neuter and release 30 dogs from the pound (we managed to find space and place a couple in pensions too) but this is just a drop in the ocean. We will again in the new year launch another spay and release campaign. Our rescuer has asked if we can help save 5 new dogs who have arrived in the pound. 2 smaller size ones and 3 lab mix types (2 black and 1 brown) All 5 are so sweet, and she has managed to secure space in the shelter for them if we agree to take them on. Today is a wonderful day at LAW! 😍 Berani has finally left the clinic and is joining her new family at our Celuk Buluh shelter 😁🥰 We'll keep her separate for a week or two to let her settle in and get used to her new surroundings, gradually introducing her to a couple of the other dogs. She's very friendly with humans, but very nervous around other dogs at the moment. The guy who alerted us to her has let us down very badly 😞 He said he would like to adopt her when she was better and would fundraise to help us pay for the veterinary care. Now he's changed his mind about adopting her and hasn't raised a penny 😢 We're determined Berani will have a good home with us and be well taken care of, regardless! ❤ We never put them back out on the streets to fend for themselves. In 2 weeks she'll be sterilised too. One of our goals is to try to get the numbers of unwanted puppies down, so every dog under our care goes through the procedure to battle those numbers. Veterinary care is very costly, even with charity status discount, it drains the funds drastically 😩 Please help us to get the best care possible for our lovely rescues. The primary reason for this gap is that we are fighting a grave crisis right now. The foul evil of Lumpy Skin Disease has returned to the gausadan and its dastardly shadow has engulfed our herd. It has afflicted around 40 cows and bulls right now in the gausadan with no sign yet of any slowdown in its wicked march. Aa you all are aware - Lumpy Skin Disease is a terrible infection which is immensely debilitating and extremely painful to the afflicted cow. It has no cure and only its symptoms can be treated over repeated cycles of their occurrences. This crisis has left us physically exhausted, mentally troubled and financially drained. The current expenditure for just the medical treatment is touching as high as 50,000 INR per day further weakening our position. But we are not giving up! Our afflicted Gau Matas and Nandis are courageously facing this painful disease and we are standing right with them. We are fighting with all our might and serving our beloved gau vamsha with all our being. Six Months ago, I launched an appeal for Femi who is battling Colon Cancer. It has been a very long ride but we thank God for where we are now. Femi is doing so much better and we are confident he will beat this cancer. After the initial surgery in May, we waited for the oncologist report to determine the next steps. We consulted with two different oncologist and the conclusions were more or less the same that he must undergo 12 cycles of Chemo at the first instance.
