It is one of the most brutal regimes in the world. No surprise that Putin found common ground with it. Global sanctions against Russia must now be one of the top priorities. But what I don't see are European countries preparing to take real risks to isolate the regime and support the Iranian people. That's what the Iranian people protesting are asking for.
