In Louisiana v. Callais, SCOTUS ruled that absent intentional discrimination, states cannot draw race-based district lines. Forcing states to draw such maps is illegal, and U.S. Department of Justice’s DOJ Civil Rights Division is committed to ensuring fair representation for ALL Americans.

“We're ambassadors to those whose stories were not told,” Medal of Honor recipient Lt. Col. William Swenson, U.S. Army (Ret.), said, describing the duty bestowed upon the award’s recipients to carry on the legacy and stories of those who died in the U.S. military and represent the best of Americans. “As Medal of Honor recipients, we are a very fair representation of America. We're a snapshot of this country,” Swenson told Margaret Brennan. “We come from towns, cities, all walks of life, different political views, and ultimately, we are a very democratic representation of the values of this country.”

🇺🇸 SCOTT JENNINGS: AMERICANS ARE DONE WITH MEDIA BIAS—“JUST COVER THE NEWS AND BE FAIR” "What the right wing is taking advantage of is Americans finally saying enough is enough. They're tired of media favoring one party, tired of narratives over facts. My advice to 60 Minutes and others: cover the news, be fair, and stop putting your finger on the scale—especially during key moments." Source: Scott Jennings CNN
