I have never seen you talk anything positive about India - so nothing more is expected - let me give you some things - we have had double digit auto growth for last 6 months , we have had double digit power growth - we have had high single digit consumption growth - but you can run your narrative and keep on peddling your anti India narrative

He literally just explained that the 'problem' in methodology was base year that was stuck in 2011-12, and couldn't be updated in 2021-22 bcoz they were not 'normal' years! How is a so called 'Value Investor' this dumb 🤦

The problem is . Opposing government view is seen and shown as Anti National and Deep state agents… or its pure chatukarita.. Even though PM himself applauds constructive criticism.. hard line followers won’t let you criticise them..

Even their 'pundits' are dimwits! Anyone, who has a little bit of knowledge about #ResearchMethods, would tell you - how (and, why) one should mention all this 👇🏾 in their work, itself. You are EXPLAINING it, now, after you were caught with your pants down! 🤦🏿‍♂️ सब नमूने हैं!

A foolish excuse, as if we are fools. Why didn’t they update it during COVID? It seems like it’s entirely their choice. If this activity is optional, then why bring it up now? Anyway, leave it. Don't talk India GDP is strong. Don't make noise.

But what he's saying is correct. Base year of 2022 will have new sectors like renewables and other emerging sectors instead of old base year of 2011. It's simply updating the current economic output as per the latest spending patterns.

U skipped relevant part where @sanjeevsanyal EXPLAINS WHY. Base year shifted 2purge sectors that no longer reflect #Bharat's economy. Completely normal exercise precisely 4that reason. #NehruvianSocialists WANT rules of Economics to b brushed aside just coz GDP growth looks good!

For the sake of clarity India should publish the GDP growth rate using both the new method and the old method (as a side note) for the current quarter and the next three quarters. Then they stop publishing the old method data after one year to uphold the public sentiment.
