Pune-Mumbai Expressway Accident: Two Killed, Missing Link Closed for Hours After Major Crash A major accident involving two heavy vehicles occurred on the Pune-Mumbai Expressway early Monday morning, leaving two people dead on the spot and disrupting traffic for several hours. This asphalt road from Kerala (the NH-66) absolutely mogs this concrete clad monstrosity called the Delhi Mumbai Expressway. Ironically, both are built by the NHAI. Stop scamming Indians with shitty PQC roads. If you really want to make it using concrete, use it as a substrata and resurface it with asphalt. The Vadodara Delhi section of the expressway is asphalt anyway. The high rainfall argument doesn't hold true for the Vadodara Mumbai section as the NH66 is located in a region with higher rainfall than Mumbai. The fact that asphalt offers smoother rides is an established fact.
