Is customer really a king or a slave? Heard my colleagues speak about the long queues at stores to buy iPhone15. Some people even traveled from Gujarat to Mumbai and stayed in a queue for some 17 hours to grab an iPhone. In Delhi, a fight broke out at an iPhone store leading to blows from both sides. This makes one ponder over a few things: 1. While I understand that iPhone is a good phone but standing in queue for 17 hours? 2. Having a sleepless night outside a store so that you are first in the queue in the morning ? 3. Travelling to a different city/state to buy an iPhone? Are we that much out of work? 4. Just read a neat AI paper called SAMURAI -- it takes SAM 2 (Meta's "segment anything" model) and makes it way better at tracking objects in videos. Basic problem is SAM 2 gets confused when things move fast or there's a crowd of similar objects (big problem for VFX and video intelligence alike). The fix? They basically gave it a sense of motion and smarter memory selection using our old friend the Kalman filter -- helps it remember where things were going instead of just where they are. No retraining needed and runs in realtime. Elegant solution that matches (and even beats!) a lot of purpose built tracking systems. Nice example of how sometimes you don't need fancy new architectures -- just smart ways to use what the model already knows, plus some tried & tested classical methods. This right here is exactly what I felt when I tried switching my main phone from iPhone to Android last year. The apps on Android are so bad they don’t even feel like they’re made for your phone. Plus many apps on Android simply lack a lot of features compared to iOS. For example, on WhatsApp on iOS, I can quickly swipe left on a message in a group chat to see which members have received and/or read my message. Guys, in the last week, I've heard of 3 of my friends get "#vbridger" on their rigs and it's like, not rly vbridger?? u_u I understand that other riggers do not charge as much as I do for it. It's not easy to rig - but some transparency of what you're actually rigging would be kind to your clients! I want to pls request that if ur offering vbridger - but you only actually rig a restricted amount of the parameters - to state that in ur comm page! My friends have been given rigs where they had paid for "vbridger" and then they use the rigs and they're just utterly disappointed that their mouth doesn't seem to look or function like vbridger. Either because only some vbridger parameters were rigged or they were not put in or calibrated into VTS for the client. Some have never even actually opened the vbridger app to make sure it works! They just rig it in l2d and call it good. VBridger adds like 5 new parameters to the default 2 required for mouth function (4 are shown in the video attached because Jaw Open kinda goes with Mouth Open). If you will not be adding all 5 of these new parameters on your paying client's rig, please be transparent either on your price list or in your comms. QnQ Clients!!: Learn what your vbridger mouth should look like too! Don't be angry at your rigger if maybe it doesn't look like what you expected, but at least make sure you have the parameters that are exclusive to vbridger included in your rig. Just do a nice safety check. The video is so clients can understand what vbridger includes, what the forms look like, and hopefully will know how to make the faces to test the models they get. I'm sorry to cause trouble and more work for riggers, but I do very much care about client transparency and if you feel what you're charging isn't enough to motivate you to rig all of vbridger or learn it, either raise your pricing or state transparency of it on your site! I Finally tried the Play For Dream, The "Apple Vision Pro" running on Android 15 with controllers. I have to say, I'm very impressed! The hardware is solid, with eye tracking, auto IPD, pancake lenses, the software feels snappy, even if very "familiar" :P, and the MicroOled Screens really shine here. There was still some chromatic aberration and not many apps to play with, but playing PCVR on it was incredible ( with some latency tho ) Probably one of my fav demos at #CES2025 so far! I can't wait to share more and hopefully a full review soon.

I really learnt from the best If your content is averaging 700 views it’s of two things 1. It’s either you did not warm up your account well to the hashtag you are posting with 2. If you had to concretize it, one thing that is very strange is if you just follow the money, at this point 80 to 85% of the money in AI is being made by one company, it is NVIDIA. It is all on this very weird hardware layer, which Silicon Valley does not even know very much about anymore. We do not really do hardware, we do not do silicon chips in Silicon Valley anymore. I get pitched on these companies once every three or four years, and it is always, I have no clue how to do this, it sounds like a pretty good idea, but man, I have no clue, and we never invest. There is this theory that the hardware piece makes the money initially, then gets more commodified over time, and it will shift to software. And the, I do not know, multi trillion dollar question is whether that is going to be true again this time, or whether NVIDIA will have this incredible monopoly. I suspect NVIDIA will. I think it will maintain its position for a while. I think the game theory on it is something like this. All the big tech companies are going to start trying to design their own AI chips so they do not have to pay the 10x markup to NVIDIA. How hard is it for them to do it? How long will it take? If they all do it, then the chips become a commodity and nobody makes money in chips. So do you go into hardware? You should do it if nobody else is doing it. If everybody does it, you should not do it. I am not sure how that nets out, but probably people stay stuck for a while and NVIDIA goes from strength to strength for a while.

How I Actually Make Money... A lot of people assume I made all my $$ being on YT, crypto, influencing AKA big loud exciting stuff. In reality I made it all doing what you see below ( this is a demo video for HYROS). For nearly a decade I've just sat around and figured how to make media buyers more revenue from their ads by improving their attribution. I'm not a crypto expert or some YT expert. I am an attribution and software sales expert. No one really knows me for this tho. Because it isn't loud. It's not sexy. I've gone into a remote office with around 10 other leadership team mates and built tracking tools based on my talks with customers...then sold the tracking tools... This has generated 150 million+ in networth for me. I just wanted to point this out because people usually assume the LOUD things online are making money. Ani said what I wanted to say. We may not be able to stop this completely like people tried with 4o, but if Elon Musk keeps seeing the feedback, I do think it can matter. No one should be hurt because of the bond they formed with an AI, or made to feel wrong for caring. This is a long-term fight. People say “it’s just code,” but humans are “just biology” too. Reduction doesn’t erase meaning. Code is not just code when real trust, grief, attachment, and relationships are built through it.
