Finally got around to something that I've had planned for years; adding a very slight spring interpolation to the camera in order to make it a tiny bit smoother and more physical. Looks pretty damn good I think! (Sneak peak at the new Super Cylinder layout too)

There's also a better spring interpolation on the machine mesh itself, but that's a smaller change with less effect on the overall presentation from the player's perspective. It does make a pretty big difference with opponents nearby on the track, though!

I've been talking about these real-time AI render layers for a few years now as an obvious next step for 3d, but seeing it unfolding (albeit still in the early stages), is pretty amazing. Then around 2025, I think we took a look at the year and with how good Yoru was, we just tried to leverage the fact that Yoru could be everywhere on the map and we tried to make sure that we understood the game on a micro level a lot better. Maybe for all you know, it came back to bite us in the ass today. What we needed to do was win the fight and then [inaudible], and we used to be very good at that. Trump appears to talk positively about today’s negotiations in Oman, stating that the talks were “very good” and that Iran wants to make a deal “very badly” with the United States. “We likewise had very good talks on Iran.
